I gotta say Final Fantasy XIII is the -only- PS3 title I'm looking forward too, unless Namco/Monolith decide to make a new Xenosaga game. Versus XIII actually looks decent so far, I was very skeptical when I first heard about it. Three versions of another FF thats not even out yet WTF? Hopefully by 'action' they really do mean Kingdom Hearts, and not Ehrgeiz. Final Fantasy already tried going in the FPS direction and failed misurably, lets not bother with the fighting genre. The mood, setting, and music was awesome. At first I thought it was the song from the ending credits in Phantasy Star Universe, 'With You.' If they stick with the 'Deep Dive' look, V13 should have some real promise in it.
After paying closer attention to the prologue, I sincerely hope this FF doesn't have another politically focused story. God, 12's plot is so bland, the only game I can remember doing fictional politics right was Final Fantasy Tactics. Now religion and conspiracy, it may be cliche but thats where its at! Jam it back in, in the dark.

Damnit! I can't get the song from that trailer out of my head.
 As soon as I find the mp3 without the background sound effects [thanks anyway Ryu  ] I'm going to use it on MySpace. Not that I'm into MySpace, but everyone I know keeps telling me to make a profile.Would anyone happen to know what language it was in? I can't wait until they release a new trailer, or a preview soundtrack. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Has anyone been able to rip that beautiful song from the Vs XIII trailer yet? I'd really like to have that song without all the background noise.

According to Game Informer magazine, theres two new trailers for Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII. The screenshots in the article were new (to me at least) so I was wondering if anyone has more info on this? Theres no new updates on either game, not since May. I was speaking idiomatically. |
