But Earthworm Jim wasn't made by Sega. I understand it was on the Genesis but it was also on SNES and obviously wasn't made by Sega.

Oh yeah, the "HD" sprites. I hated when they did that with Double Dragon for XBLA. It made me feel like I was on newgrounds rather then playing a game on the 360.
