You're better off with the DS seeing as how a large chunk of the PSPs gaming library are PS2/PS1 ports last time I checked. With the DS you have access to a large selection of RPGs especially if you include the GBA games. PSP doesn't have a previous system to expand your game library from.
The only real reason I could see to choose a PSP as an RPG gamer is if you wanted to get the remake of Valkyrie Profile 1, which is an excellent game. Jam it back in, in the dark.  "Out thought and out fought." |
