Except if you're talking about Gamestop they aren't half price. It's more like 5% off which in most cases isn't worth it for me.

You could always try half.com. Prices will still be high but you don't have to bid, you just outright buy it.

As for me, I never buy games used if I can avoid it. People are too careless with their own property. It's like impossible to rent a DVD or Game that won't skip from the previous renters scratching it up so why would I trust preowned games? I have no problem buying used handhelds but I will never buy a used console, consoles are too delicate to buy a preowned one. You drop a gameboy, it's probably gonna be ok. You drop a PS2 and you know something came loose and it's gonna die out on your eventually.

I used to buy games used all the time during the NES and SNES days, but cartridges seemed alot more resistant to stupidity damage.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
