I'm not sure what it is, whether its the jump from newer models to old, but my pal with an older model has issues tranfering files, it's just very very slow for him. I too have just purchased a PSP and everything is A-OK, aside that it's a factory 2.6 and I can't really do much with that ~ Just waiting on a DevHook that'll work for it (now upgraded to 2.71, orz) so I don't have to buy games.
Good times. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
So they came out with a program that lets TA-082 psp owners with 2.71 use devhook (among other things).
Aha, but does anyone know where I can find a 1.50 dump for devhook? It's been driving me a bit mad looking around for it. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
I must say this: Good things come to those who wait.
last summer when I bought my 2.60 TA-082 motherboard I thought I had just wasted a good $200 dollars on a non-homebrew capable psp. I decided to upgrade to 2.71, the highest firmware at the time, and just give into Sony's desire for me to update all the time... BUT NO, I got my hope back and waited and sure enough TA-082 motherboards on 2.71 (and below) can now be downgraded to 1.50 and have full homebrew capabilities. Best day of my PSP life when this became possible. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Thanks for that link Seph, I couldnt find a good FAQ for the life of me. OE-B is pretty sweet.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
I can't wait till they come out with better compression for psx games, I want to play ffvii but it's just too big for my 1gig of memory.
Aside from this psp has pretty much exploded, even in the legit scene with Crisis Core, MPO, and FFT rerelease. Pretty sweet. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
I'm not sure if it is even possible, how to make a Game Manual for ps1 games run on 3.03 OE. You know, that option when you hit the Home button.
Anyone got any info? Edited: oh duh, right on the last page :: How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
So far reliving PS1 is pretty nice, but I still can't play Um Jammer Lammy. This unemulatable game is driving me crazy.
Aside from this, I'm waiting for something actually worth updating to 3.10 OE to do it. I'm pretty sick of running these updates, so why not wait for soemthing good? FELIPE NO ![]() |
Update: nope, still don't work :/ wont work on any emulators on PC either. I can't see why not, parappa works decently on the PSP. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]()

the shear fact that lumines is awsome wasn't enough?
I recently got a new psp from best buy with the PRP thing. My old one was gettin all crappy, what with the UMD door not closing and dead pixels and what-have-you. Havent downgraded yet, but all I been doing is playing Lumines, ironically enough, and listenin' to MP3s. The new psp I happened to get was 2.60, so I'm guessin you'd be hard-pressed to find a new psp with 2.70 or higher, which is a good thing of course. ![]() Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
