Fucking boss rush. I try on Hard and can easily get to Tabuu. However, the fucker always kills me, usually with the cheap attack where he pulls out his wings.

So I gave up after two hours at it and decided to use a hammer. Oh, wait. It's a unbreakable one. Jesus Christ.

How ya doing, buddy?

Hmm. Here's a neat trick for getting all those damn music CDs to actually spawn.

YouTube Video
That's still pretty slow. A better way would be to set up conveyor belts leading into a deep pit, and then set a Special Brawl with Bunny Ears, Metal, Heavy, and Fast. Drop Bowser into the pit and keep pressing A. I think I got 90 stickers and around 10 CDs in five minutes. It even lagged on me, as there were so many Sandbags at once, as they can't disappear when flying.

I should probably also note that it seems they fixed the appearance rate of CDs in the American version.

How ya doing, buddy?

Pretty much what Kesubei said.

For those who need to rack up their KO count, you can use the same principle as the CD Factory. Create a small stage with conveyor belts leading to a block. Choose Lucario and set your opponents (preferably Jigglypuff) to be humans with handicaps of 300% and set the Damage Ratio to 2.0. In the stage, set it up so that the conveyor belts lead to Lucario's B attack. Leave it on while you're doing something else.

Keep in mind that KOs only count when there's a limit on the match. Go for either 99 stock or 99 minutes. This also helps boost your Brawl time, since it's multiplied by the number of human players.

Special Brawls don't count, either.

"Beat X Mode on Xtreme Difficulty"
None of those are difficult, since you can use continues and coins essentially grow on trees in this game.

I used my hammers on three of the Target Test time challenges, since I hate that sort of thing. The other two were for 15-minute melee and "Do 100-man melee with every character", since both are boring bullshit.

How ya doing, buddy?

Hate to tell you, but there are NO continues on the Boss Battles.
I wasn't including Boss Battles in "Beat X Mode on Xtreme Difficulty".

I don't see how Intense All-Star is difficult. Just use a character you're good with and abuse continues. By the time you're done with The Subspace Emissary, you should have more than enough coins to do so. It's nowhere as aggravating as Melee's "beat Adventure Mode on Hard with no continues".

preventing the game from going at you three-on-one.
It's different this time around. All-Star groups up characters by franchise, and you only fight two, at the most, at once.

Oh, and if you're trying to get trophies of the bosses, prepare to rip your hair out when it comes to both Ridleys and Duon.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Is there a trophy for beating the boss battles with every character
Yes.

or difficulty?
Yes. Have fun with your faster bosses on Intense.

Probably won't go for boss battles with everyone, even on easy, it would be annoying to do with some characters. (Here's lookin at you, Olimar.)
Aerial Up A. If you're easily bored by Boss Battles (I was), space them out so that you do one or two characters per day. You'll eventually get the challenge and won't be lulled to sleep.
