I'll probably be stuck with Age of Conan for a bit.
Edit: Besides, I hate Korean MMOs when it comes in regards to pvp. Work your way up to a higher level just for a bunch of people to gang rape you to make you drop equipment? No thanks. Competing against people is one thing, but why torture yourself even more(though playing an MMO is torture to begin with ) by losing even more progress because someone wants to be an ass to you by camping you until you drop equipment?I hated that crap in lineage 2...people exploited the system. ![]() Really It's more of how they implement consequences of death. Death is going to happen in pvp. However, making it so that nearly anywhere after a certain level(basically enforcing) pvp, and having consequences that will hinder you greatly for it, is cause for less fun. Granted I never got in those situations most of the time, but I can definitely feel that it would be aggravating to many people when say you just get a new weapon, and then you step outside, 10 minutes later someone jumps you for no reason, and takes it. That loses progress, which is something no one wants when you worked for a few hours of something. That would almost be similar in the aspect of you losing a save file in a game after you worked a bit to gain an item. Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting. Rohan looks ok. ![]() Most amazing jew boots

![]() Also, it's funny that you mentioned about equipment dropping when you've been pking a lot. In L2, the chances of you dropping your equipment were really low (though I still hate that you can drop it PERIOD), and if you attacked someone in pk, your name goes to purple, and if you killed, it goes to red. If it goes to red, you had a very greater chance of dropping it. However, people exploited this system, where if you were attacked by someone else, they'd get YOU to flag for red when you try to defend yourself just by hitting somehow, and then they get like 3-4 others to jump you, take your items, and leave. It's not so much of pvp, but a good 70-80% of the times, on mmos where you can drop equipment after pvp, people exploit the system. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
How ya doing, buddy? |
