I don't like wearing headphones while I'm in my room, so I keep music playing just for some ambience in the room. While I have the power to blast it, I usually try to keep it at lower volumes just enough to hear it and keep it in my room. The bass escapes out to other rooms anyway, so I have to adjust that sometimes. If I know the place is empty, that's when I'll blast it just for the fun, but even that annoys me sometimes.
