I bought Metroid Prime: Hunters and Kingdom Hearts II hier. I'm still waiting for Tetris DS from the fucker I bought it from on eBay. Slow morose mother fucker.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Guess I'll post here for the games I got.
I got New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS [Lite!], and it is easily the best game this year. I also got Mario Party 7 as a fun game to play as there's about 20 people living in my house right now. Fam jam fun. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Wow... more Mario games for me.
I purchased Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time for the Nintendo DS. Instantly realizing I've been grabbing way too many Nintendo games in the past months (excluding Kingdom Hearts II, that's 6 in a row), I went ahead and got Ultimate Spider-Man for the Gamecube. $20 of fun. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
More and more games this month...
I got FIFA Soccer 06 for PS2. I also continued my shopping spree of DS games by getting Sonic Rush and Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day! That's about $500 this month on video game stuff. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I just completed Sonic Rush during my commute today. Metroid Prime: Hunters is the only DS game I have that's not completed, but I like options... so I stopped by EB Games and Best Buy (as well as Nordstrom and AE Outfitters). I got Big Brain Academy and Magentica from EB games, 2 games which I've been itching for the last few months. I also got 2 DS sleeves from there, red (which I thought was orange) and blue. From Best Buy, I got Sonic Mega Collection for GC, since I'm on a Sonic high right now and would be incomplete without him. Plus, it almost makes up for my Sonic Spinball being stolen from me a couple years ago. Fun times ahead.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Ordered a few more games.
Motherfucking Nintendo Monopoly! I had pre-ordered Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and got that today. I'll try to start it tonight if I have time. I also pre-ordered Final Fantasy XII CE. I also got the SNES StarFox game off eBay for $10. I only played it well over 10 years ago when a childhood friend had it. I've never touched it since, so it may be worth it while waiting for StarFox Command on the DS. ![]() What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I'm still trying to find Deep Labyrinth myself.
Instead, I got a few GBA games that I used to just have on ROMs and put on a flash cart. I got The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, and WarioWare: Mega Microgame$ (which I loved but erased a few years back). I've been getting so many DS games lately I've forgotten about the wonderful world of GBA. FELIPE NO |
I did get Trauma Center: Under the Knife and played through the first chapter. Wow, this game is fun. This is as close as I'll ever get to blood, since I hate it. ![]() Also got a GC memcard. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I got Star Fox Command and Deep Labyrinth today. I was also gonna take a picture of the cashier too for the Scavenger Hunt, but I lost my nerve because she was a cutie. Le sigh. ;_;

;_; My post got deleted? WTF mate. Anyway, repost:
Massive ~$300 shopping spree over the weekend. Video games I got include: -Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (DS) ~ It's basketball. It's Nintendo. It's even Square Enix. It's a win-win. -Cooking Mama (DS) ~ <3 Flaming eyes of RAGE. -NBA 2K7 (PS2) ~ Gotta get the yearlly bball game. I've always gotten EA's live series, but that's been going down since 2000. It's all about shot stick now. -LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (PS2) ~ The awesome of Star Wars plus the absolute awesome that is LEGO makes this a must-have. I already finished through the first (fourth) episode. ![]() -Okami (PS2) ~ I had intended to get Phoeni Wright: Ace Attorney (DS), but they sold out just 30 minutes earlier. I was gonna get this game anyway, since it's being proclaimed to be on the better, if not best, games this year. Now to find time to play it...-God of War (PS2) ~ Toys R Us had a buy-2-$19.99-games-get-third-free deal, so I figured I'd get some old hits I never got a chance to play. I heard this game was good. -Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) ~ This one too. -LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game ~ And I had to get this since I got the new one. I've played it before, and I'll probably play it again after II. -Donkey Konga + DK Bongos (GC) ~ What an impulse buy. I've been meaning to get this since my laster year of college, and I saw a bunch at the store. So I got it. Also got an FFX Auron action figure I got on impulse too... and some pants. ![]() There's nowhere I can't reach. |
EDIT: Wow, nevermind. I just noticed it's becoming a "Player's Choice" game and more copies are coming out ![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I got Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 (GBA) today as it was released as a "Player's Choice" game today (so many copies around now!). I've been wanting this for a while now just to have a cart of. I've completed it on my flash cart years ago, but now I have the "real thing" to do it on again. Yay?
I wanted to get Clubhouse Games (DS) too, but they didn't have them in the store yet despite being released today. Maybe next week or something then. Most amazing jew boots |

Oh man. Meteos is crazyfranticpsychofunaddictive. Too bad there's no Nintendo Wi-Fi for it, though the upcoming Disney version of it is supposed to have it.
![]() I guess I'll just post that I got Clubhouse Games last week, and got some WiFi gamage with SILBER-1, SILBER-2, and SILBER-3 (formerly Tri, nutty, and RockGamer). Darts is crazy fun, and I either totally miss or get bullseyes. I'm pretty decent at bowling now (as opposed to real life...). Takeover and "battleship" are insanely fun, with takeover quite posisbly being the best game. I love it. I'm going through stamp mode now and just got past Ludo. Also did a few missions, but a lot of them are hard as eggs. How ya doing, buddy? |
Boo to lack of Wi-Fi support. Why would they do this? They don't think it'll be popular enough? I think having Wi-Fi would make it a great sell. :/The new features are interesting though. I'll probably still get it for them and since I liked Meteos. Oh, and Disney owns my soul. FELIPE NO |
Anyway, I got Contact today. EB Games ran out (sold 4 hours ago when I got there). I went to Best Buy, even though they had posted the game's release was next week for them. BAM!: saw it there anyway, and $5 cheaper at that, plus there was an old man in the corner telling me to buy the game. I couldn't deny him, so I bought it! =p What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
It's like I'm destined to never get Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Last time, a store that had it in stock "sold the last copy the night before." This time, I call 2 hours ahead to confirm it's in stock. When I get there, they "sold the last copy 10 minutes ago." Fucking cow poo.
Anyway, so I got dot hack//GU:vol.1//rebirth. I still haven't played part 4 of the original video game set, but I plan to (once I can find it on eBay or something). But I had to get this since it was a special edition, and it came with a toy. And I like toys. ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
October's been a month 'C' games.
I had gotten Cooking Mama, Clubhouse Games, and Contact. Now I add Children of Mana to that list. I love the series, but the only games I've played from it are Secret of Mana and Legend of Mana. I want to play Sword of Mana first before this (which I still need to buy), but I wanted to just have Children of Mana now so I don't struggle looking for it later. And why lie... it looks pretty on the shelf. ![]() And of course, I got Final Fantasy XII (Collector's Edition of course) as well the LE guide because, well, :fanboy:. I've never gotten one of these guides for a game for, but it seems to be the general suggestion here. Plus there was only 1 left at the EB games I went to. I was destined for it, unlike Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, which always seems to escape my clutches. :/ There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I recently completed the hardest DS game on earth in Trauma Center: Under the Knife. Until then, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney had always escaped me at my local video game stores. But alas, I finish X7: Savato, and today I get Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Wahooo! Finally months of struggling to be a master surgeon are done. It's time to become an ace attorney.
I also got Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 (GBA) just because I never played it, and there's a lot of hype for Yoshi's Island 2 coming out soon. So I wanna check out the first game before getting the new game. Also got the FFX Tidus action figure. Just gotta get Yuna now, even though I already have the FFX-2 model. ![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

So... it's been a few weeks since I got a DS games. ONLY a few weeks. This is bad. I got the necessary DS November games:
Elite Beat Agents ~ Totally cised for this. Osu! Ouedan! Tatakae! was one of my first favorite DS games, but I got through it fairly quickly. It was also the last music/rhythm game I played. Yoshi's Island DS ~ Of course. I'm not playing it for a while though. I just got the original Yoshi's Island for GBA last week and I'm still making my way through that first. Final Fantasy III ~ I had reserved this, so I went ahead and picked this up. Something tells me this will get much more PT than Final Fantasy XII. :/ Oh, so people are camping out for the PS3 already. I got to play some NBA Live 07 on it. FUCKING AWESOME. Too bad I like the 2K7 series better. So, why this is bad: I basically have this huge stack (def: data structure-style), starting way back with Super Mario 64 DS. Some games later, and it finally got to Metroid Prime: Hunters. That got interrupted by Magnetica, which got pushed by Deep Labyrinth, then Cooking Mama, then Contact, and most recently Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Now... there's no way I'm gonna stop playing Phoenix Wright, but I most definitely think Final Fantasy III and Elite Beat Agents get priority now. Video gaming (and TV/animu): my new homework....Most amazing jew boots |
I guess I'll mention the purchases over the past week.
Last weekend I got the Wii, extra Wii remote and nunchuk, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Excite Truck (BIG DAMN TRUCKS!). So 4 games for the launch. Zelda, the highlight game of Wii launch, is a no brainer. I got interested in Super Monkey Ball in line as people talked about it, and I ended up getting it since Trauma Center and Red Steel were sold out already anyway. DBZ, mainly for my brother, is ridiculously fun. :/ And then of course BIG DAMN TRUCKS... most holy shit game I've played in a while. Then today I picked up Trauma Center: Second Opinion and Red Steel. I've been meaning to pick up both since launch. I completed Trauma Center on the DS (including the X missions!), which is one of the most difficult tasks in video gaming ever. I thoroughly enjoyed that game though, and am ready to continue my elite surgeon skills. Red Steel has just always looked interesting from what I've seen the past few months. Hopefully I'll get some playtime in those this week. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
It's been almost 2 weeks, and I haven't bought any video games. So it was due.
My Wii component cables finally came in, and my BIG DAMN TRUCKS are now BIGGER and DAMNER. <3 But with that, I can finally begin The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and appreciate it more. I even got the Collector's Edition guide... but that plan came to a halt because I also got Elebits. Wow, this game is zany. I just got through the tutorial and the first two levels of it, and it's instantly become my Wii second-favorite of the moment. (BIG DAMN TRUCKS is still on top.) Because of the additional component cables, I also got an A/V switchbox to use on that and my PS2, which also uses component cables. Ah.... convenient! I also finally invested in some rechargeable AA batteries, so I got a charger and 8 rechargeable batteries for my Wii-motes. Good stuff. Yay. FELIPE NO |
The $35 DS games seem to only be at Gamestops/EBGames/Funcolands. EVERYWHERE else (Target, Best Buy, Costco, Wal-Mart, etc.), most of those Nintendo games (like Kirby, Mario, Yoshi, etc) go for ~$30. =/
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I've pre/ordered a few things since I last posted here, but I haven't actually got any of them yet.
I put in my Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia order last week, just because that game looks hot. I'm really looking forward to that, as I doubt there's many PS2 game to look forward to this year. For the DS, I imported Jump Ultimate Stars, and I hope to get that this week. Domestically, I pre-ordered Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All and Hotel Dusk: room 215, two seemingly must-haves for the DS. Those three games should be arriving at a good time too as I'll be done with my current DS gaming real soon. I can't find Kirby: Squeak Squad anywhere. Hopefully nutty can pull through for me. =p Jam it back in, in the dark. |
