I have the Virgin Mobile (Kyocera) Slider V5. It was my first cell phone, which I got back in 2004 (Yeah, I was pretty late in getting a phone). It has since been abused, but I still use it. It's not all ghetto'd out. It's been dropped so many times the battery's max life is about half of what it used to be. The battery pack itself doesn't stay latched into the phone anymore, so I keep it in the holder. However, the holster has also got a tear in it, so I patched it up using medical tape. Computer engineering in da house.
![]() ![]() ![]() I'll get a new one when this thing dies permanently on me. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I like the slider concept just because it is different. I'm most definitely intrigued by Encephalon's phone. Plus, I'm all about the Samsung. When I replace my current one, I'm definitely leaning towards this design. We'll see what's new by the end of the year as well. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
