Damn. I just lost Kurado's house on a bet I lost.

In college, some friends and I (as well anyone that happened to show up) would have weekly poker (texas hold 'em most of the time) games. Generally they, were weekly, sometimes more than once a week. And typically, games wouldn't finish until 6 or 7 am in the morning. Fun times.

I also played online poker for a few months from February to November last year. That proved very profitable for me (made about $1500), but I just couldn't commit time to it anymore. I'll admit it was an addiction for the first few weeks, but I got it pretty controlled later. I was actually gonna get back into it again a few months ago, but then there was that law or something that got passed. :/

I went with my family to Vegas last year, which was 3 weeks before I turned 21. That was pure evil.

I'll probably hit up Atlantic City sometime with some friends once they get back into the area just for some fun there. Some friends that are still in school are graduating this week, so there'd be much more time for them to go out and do stuff next year. Can't wait! ^^

Haha, true that. There were occasions however when it's really just been way too long and the game was heads up; the two players left would just agree to split the pot based on chip counts. I'll also admit that while I fared in online poker really well, I lost overall in "live" play. In my "career" I'm probably down about $200. But it's always fun, comparable to paying for entertainment: $20-$100 for a fun, long night.

I also wanna mention that they play poker in one conference room here at work during lunch. I haven't joined in any of the games since I can't bring myself to mingle like that with 40+year-olds; but maybe sometime... =/
