LOL.

I like how I'm going to the bathroom every 5 minutes (should I say taking a wii?) because of this coverage excitement. It's hard to work right now. :/

I actually budgetted $1000 for Wii stuff this year. It's looking like I might just end up spending a little over half of that. This is great. Alright... going back to the bathroom.

A game like Korolimpa looks like a ton of fun. Haha... THEY SEE ME ROLLIN. TILTIN. Et cetera.

I hope a game like Cooking Mama sells cheaper, not carrying the full US $50 price tag, like how the DS version is $20 as opposed to $35. I also hope it's a different game from the DS version.

Also, Nintendo.com just put up their article: http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?...Slh7Sc0b&page=

And Wii.com now has the North American section: http://wii.com/

Yeah, I'm trying to pre-order asap too. I wonder when "bundles" will start coming out. I'm fully expecting some sort of OMEGA Bundle like they did with the 360... like all launch games, the console, full set of controllers and accessories. I'd certainly go for it for the Wii.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Theyre still discussing the browser pricing. I'm sure it won't be free. But besides that, nothing else has to be purchases separately. Weather, photos, sex, and mii, etc. are all there.

You don't necessarily need the nunchuck part. Plus you have to realize this controller does have more unique technology than anything else ever. For 2 players, you only need a controller besides a game to already start playing something. Eg.: X-box you need almost $100 on top of the base console price + a game to play; PS3: US $600. US $600. US $600. Etc. The controller price is not ridiculous at all.

Anyway, I think there are 4 games that I definitely want at launch. Maybe 5.

I've been on the hunt for old games for the past few couple years, ebaying for classic games when I have extra money to spend now and then. I try to get "complete" contents of everything. Not trying to get everything at once, so it's been and will continue to be a slow process. I'm trying to think which games I'd get on the Virtual Console since I do prefer something tangible. It will probably end up that the games I get on the VC will be the less popular games and ones that I don't feel like putting the time/money/effort into finding an original cart.

Yeah, I think it's a smarter move for Nintendo as they are marketing towards "everyone" anyway. Not everyone has an HDTV. I don't, though I'll be in the market for one in Ocobter (for Final Fantasy XII and later the Wii). Everyone will be able to accept the RCA plugs for their current home sets. The majority of "everyone" does not have an HDTV. Why should Nintendo include a plug "everyone" can't use? Especially if you're gonna be moving the Wii around (since a lot of people care about the launch color), the RCA plug is easily the most useful one. If Nintendo included S-video, kudos! But it'd be a waste, indeed.

LOL yay. I'll probably check how many pre-orders they'll have available tonight. Based on this, I'll probably miss a few hours of work to get this pre-order through. Time to ninja-plan.

Hot awesome. There's an EB Games (apparently) which is a few minutes walk from where I work. I usually get to the area (subway/bus) around 9:15, and start work around 9:30. I'll try to leave a little earlier tomorrow, probably go to the EBGames about 45 minutes before it opens, and hopefully get one (I get paid the same anyway since I'm not hourly). They're supposed to have 12 pre-order available, and the person on the phone told me he knows at least 3 people who are going to line up at 7am. ;________;

Now I just have to commit to hauling a Wii box via public transportation for over an hour after work... (and it'd probably be the Monday since I'm not in this area on a Sunday).

Yeah, my experience was bullshit. I called yesterday, and they said they'd have 12.

I get there an hour early, 5 people there. Store opens, and they're only selling 4. I called the guy out on giving the other 8 to the employees. I was right, BUT DON'T FUCKING TELL ME YOU'LL HAVE 12 AND ONLY GIVE 4. Morose mother fucker.

So I committed murder today. Can't rest.

Glad I'm not the only one who failed at pre-order day. ;_;

I guess I also have a question about the classic controller, that may have been asked/answered in this thread... basically: why would I need/want one? Just for a more traditional feel? To play old games? Do some Wii games need it instead of the Wiimote? Eh?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Trauma Center: Second Opinion looks fucking hot. Hopefully, I can beat X7 in the DS game before it comes out, but I'm failing hard multiple times on a daily basis. ;_; LOL @ Tri. =p

On component cables, that's nifty. I never got it for GC since I didn't have an HDTV. But now I do (!). And with Wii I guess I don't need my cube anymore...

Also lollin at the Bleach game: "BLEACH stuff i can't read WII stuff"

Yeah, can't wait for Nov. 19.

Oh, right! Gameboy Player. I forgot I had that too. I haven't used it for well over a year. :/ That offer is tempting, but I think I'll keep the system for sentimental value at least. Or just to play GC games in another room or something, since it is the newest (albeit a few years and excluding Dreamcast) console I have, I haven't played through too many GC games other than sports, fighters, and racing games.

So, yeah... GameStop.com/EBgames.com is starting their Nintendo Wii bundle pre-orders tonight (CST). For the lazy:

Nintendo Wii Console (includes 1 remote controller, 1 nunchuck, cables, sensor bar, console stand, and Wii Sports game)
Wii Memory SD 1GB
Additional Wii Remote Controller
6 Games:
-Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-Trauma Center: Second Opinion
-Red Steel
-Marvel Ultimate Alliance
-Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
-Madden NFL 2007
12 Month Product Replacement Plan
Game Informer Gift Subscription

$694.88 plus tax and handling

... So console ($250), SD card (Nintendo, so +$60=$310), remote control (what was it, $30, so +$30=$340, 6 games (at $50 each so +$300=$640), means this subscription and warranty thing combine for about $50. :/ Plus tax AND handling. Really pricey. I definitely want those first 3 games at launch, and I haven't had a Madden game since 2004, so that would be okay. I never thought much about the Marvel or Monkey games, but the Super Monkey Ball should be instant fun.

Meh, I might just try to get this since I might not be able to go anywhere on midnight on Sunday, or early for store openings. :/

Also got extra Wii-mote, nunchuck, TP, MONKEYBALLS, DRAGONBALLZ, and BIG DAMN TRUCKS: $535.44 total.

Obligatory photos, blog entry, and video footage coming up within the next wiik. Quite possibly the best video I've ever been involved with.

Excite Truck is damn amazing. The multi-player is pretty lacking though, which is a shame, but single player's really where it's at. I didn't really know what to expect when I got the game, other than BIG DAMN TRUCKS. But it's very much fun. It's full of so many "HOLY SHIT" moments. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard peole going "HOLY SHIT" so many times during a gaming session before. It's also easily the best driving/racing game I've played in a long while (actually not really racing since place doesn't count for everything). So much fun. ^^

As for Red Steel, I just got it last week, and I've been pretty addicted to it. I'd say the experience is actually pretty intense. Like any of the other Wii games so far (can't believe I already have 7 games), there's a learning curve, but it's much fun once you get it. I can't wait to get this going on 4-way multiplayer probably this weekend. Should be ridiculous fun! Oh, and sword-fighting! Absolute win.

The Nintendo sensor bar cost only $10 off their online store (in the U.S., dunno about Australia), as opposed to that $25 thing Turbo put. =/

On Red Steel, I do like the controls. The graphics aren't the greatest, and your arm goes into awkward positions, but I do like the controls (at least for shooting). :/ I guess I just got used to it. Sword-fighting on the other hand... meh.

Just got Elebits today too. <3 Highly recommend!
