Osnap. (xman25, fix your first set of spoiler tags there )

Spoiler:
Peter MacNicol joining in is intersting. He's an entertaining guy, but he always has a comic demeanor with his characters. It'll be fun.

Two years after?! Holy crap...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

"Jack Bauer. You have to sacrifice yourself. You need to die. But you to stay alive in fucking awesome ways for a few hours first.. then die."

That trailer was awesome. Already questions abound. January 14: I can't wait.

Spoiler:
He's coming in on a plane, assumably from China, which is, what, a 12+ hour flight? So he was on his way back to America on this day... wonder that happened.

Yeah, come on. If you've followed the thread (I mean, this is all about spoilers), then you'd know Wayne was President already.

As JT said, Jack should be in the US the entire time, or most of it at least. In the first one or two hours, he might be on the plane arriving or something.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The new year has come and started for some of us. For me, it begins in 4 hours. That's cute.

But more importantly, the sixth season of 24 starts in exactly 2 weeks. Time's got nothing on Jack Bauer.

Also just completed a Season Five marathon this weekend. I also threw out this ridiculous idea to my friends that, after this season, we watch every episode of 24 starting with the end of this season... backwards. A better suggestion was that after Season 7, we all take a week off work just to marathon through it all. I honestly can't wait for that week. =p

How ya doing, buddy?

Sorry to bust your bubbles, but Chuck Norris could take Bauer any day, any time, any where (even fuckin' space.)

Get out. First of all, too bad Chuck Norris is a fictional character. Second of all, you're wrong anyway.

lol, well im hoping this season Jack will get more fights, I mean his gone to china, probably spent those months in one hell of a tough prison, he must of been able to hold his own.

Only one man defeated Chuck Norris and that was Bruce Lee.
I sort of think that Jack Bauer probably became some sort of an ambassador there in China. He was probably hired in a role as instant population control. I mean, what better way to get rid of overpopulation than have Jack Bauer loose in your country. They probably won't show any of this this coming season, but we all know that's why Jack Bauer is no longer an enemy of the Chinese.

Yeah, they've been leaked. ;_;

One of my friends started watching the first episode, and told me Jack was in it... I blocked him for the rest of the week. =p

Did you block him with...a Phoenix Shield?

But seriously, this leaked shit is garbage, and I'd never watch it. It's one thing to download a show after it's already aired (and even then only if you missed it or really want to see it again), but to watch something before then is just stupid to me.
Yeah, Phoenix Shield has been activated. I think I heard Chloe say, "OH NO NOT A PHOENIX SHIELD!" The leak would ruin my epic countdown timers I have going. =p This week still has to be all about anticipation. We cannot let those with weak sauce start discussing the events that are to unfold already. Gotta wait for that double double Bauer hour.

ONE MORE WEEK.

I can't believe you guys couldnt wait, you will have to wait extra for the next episode now!
Well, they're no longer guys. They have lost their manhood because of this sin. Then again, no one is a man when around Jack Bauer.

LOL 24 Toys are on the way

http://www.diamondselecttoys.com/article.asp?ai=36469

There will probably one of Tony, that you pull the cord (push the button) and it repeatedly says 'yeh' in a sighing tone, whilst nodding its head. Maybe a Jack, that says 'damnit' or 'Cloe I need a favour'
Those toys are gonna be awesome, but "Jack Bauer toy" is quite the oxymoron. Hopefully it can run around yelling "DAMMIT!" and "THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TIME!" as well as perform some interrogation techniques. And of course the Chloe toy: "OH NO NOT A PHOENIX SHIELD! THAT HAS A POISON PILL FIREWALL!"

Rockgamer, let us know how the toys are since I know you'll be one of the first with them.

My final exam week of December 2005 was epic. The only season of 24 I had seen then was four. Five was starting in a month, and I wanted to see the rest of them before it. So I watched season one straight through, with only one ~half-hour break at a 24-hour McDonald's. =p At some point, I took a final, and then I watched Season 2 straight, again with a McDonald's break. Season Three got watched the following week (not marathon mode), and then season 4 again among the remaining weeks before the Season Five premiere. It was legendary.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Haha, no way. I didn't watch much TV at all those days other than animated shows. I watched more movies then. Late 2005 is when I started watching just about everything ever on TV... and less movies. =/

Folks, the most epic weekend in the history of earth is upon us. This will be the beginning of one of only six days ever that matter. We all know time only exists because Jack Bauer doesn't feel like carrying it. Anyone got some epic plans for this event? I might marathon season four or five starting tomorrow night, maybe earlier since THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME!

I might not wear Jack Bauer pajamas to bed, but I've been watching since season one on through. No dvds or torrents, just the episodes as they air.
I so want Jack Bauer PJs.

But yes, I can't believe how giddy I am for tonight. It's really all I can think about right now. 7 hours, 21 minutes to go as of hitting submit.

Awesome. Just in time then to elimiinate any other plans you made for the night.

This is it, folks: anticipation mode winds down. It's one hour until the premiere (for me). My heart beat is up. I feel a little chill. My spine is tingling. My hands are shaking....

Here we fucking go.
