Hitoshi Sakimoto ~discuss~
Discuss what you like/love/hate about Sakimoto's work
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Everyone has got their opinion, but Sakimoto is capable using other instruments - some of his piano pieces are some of his strongest works (Stella Deus BGMArrange - Sky Ray (has a piano intro), BOFV - A Small Journey)
Vagrant Story, I feel, is his masterpiece There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Hamauzu and Sakimoto have there different styles - They are my top two composers
Though I can understand why ppl would like Hamauzu more because he has elements that are not as strong in Sakimoto's work. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I have to agree - how does Hamauzu have no melody!?
SF 2 and Unlimited Saga are truely amazing, and ff7doc has it's strengths to ![]() I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Haven't got that one ><
Most amazing jew boots |
Here something-
Sakimoto has worked with the likes of Masaharu Iwata, Hayato Matsuo, Yasunori Mitsuda, Michiro Oshima and perhaps a few other composers - to vary his style as some demand, who do you think he would work best next to (keeping in mind, for example, Legaia Duel Saga and Sakimoto's heavy influence with Mitsuda's style) SO, in summery - team a composer up with Sakimoto - how would you think it would work out? What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
