Crash Issues

(EDITED - Please see second post)

My laptop calls a low battery alert - I go to put the computer on standby, then it suddenly turns off (without saving settings). Next time I turn on the laptop, I find that I am being put into a temporary profile instead of my original profile settings. I reset the computer to get the same results - a reset temporary profile :/

(EDITED)

(I have backed up all of my files - nothing has been lost)

Jam it back in, in the dark.

BUMP

Here is my present situation

Everytime I turn on my laptop, then log in my normal user account details, windows gives me a message that goes somewhere along the lines of - "We are logging you into a temporary account. The changes made to this account will be lost when you restart your computer."

So now everytime I log on, it's like turning on a new computer...so all my cookies and other program settings have been reset. Plus this account doesn't seem to be able to load System Restore or the User Accounts programs from Start:Assessories and Control Panel - and I am lost at how to restore my computer

Today I have tried to resort to rebooting...with one small inconvienience...the Certificate of Attenticy on my laptop (on the underside) has asmost been completely damaged (this laptop is about three years old); this means I am unable to enter a 25 digit code into the operating system cd setup program.

What I need to know/ do is to create a new user account profile...without the aid of User Accounts - Is there another way of doing this

Please help me

RyuFAN

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Local Users and Groups doesn't appear - probably because this temp account doesn't have admin privilages. ><

This is really annoying. Especially since I've payed to have the computer cleaned up etc. I wish I knew which file was damaged in my original profile - or if there was a way I could manuelly clean up my profile so it would just load with it's admin properties - It's just annoying the fact that every time i turn on the computer I lose all my previous settings

Or is there anyway to reboot and reinstal the operating system without the 25 digit key on the Certificate of Certificate of Attenticy?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
