I usually prefer original because the seiyuu sound better and they express the emotions better but there are several dubs that do just as well. Like gundam wing, kenshin, outlaw star, gits, arjuna, vandread. These dubs nail it on the spot. And sometimes the original seiyuu suck and the dub sounds better. For example, I like Inuyasha dub VA better than the original Japanese ones.
