Gaiden is pretty short so I dont' think that they'll make it into a movie. You can really fit all of it into one or two episodes.

Wow, 2 years of fillers, it's kinda hard to believe it was really that long ago. Can't wait till friday for DB's release. In the last filler they wrote, "3 more weeks of fillers." I wonder if the non-manga readers went crazy when they saw that.

Actually, I thought it was a horrible way to start the new season. It really ruins the flow of the story even if it's just to get everyone hyped about the new season.
Anyway, the music is very different from season 1. It actually sounds pretty good but I hope they don't get rid of some old tunes form season 1.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Oh, looks like Sasuke is betraying Orochimaru. I guess it had to happen sooner or later. But I'm guessing Kabuto will go and save Orochimaru. Either that or Kabuto helps Sasuke but I doubt they're going to kill off Orochimaru.

Am I the only one who is not liking Akatsuki's theme? Why did they have to use medieval style music? I think it should be a fast pace "we're coming to kick your ass" theme.

Again with dragging the episode. I bet the hour "special" is going to be dragged also. It's really killing the battle scenes so the tv series is going down for me. The manga on the other hand, I think it is coming out well.

New character 'suigetsu'... I'm guessing the others will be 'kagetsu', 'dogetsu', 'fuugetsu'. That would be corny. It's just copying Kakuzu.

Well, for me, that was unexpected of Kabuto. The last page of him integrated with Orochimaru was pretty freaky.
I'm hoping Sasuke's isn't the only fight that'll be going on.
Also, LMFAO at Tobi running away from Sasuke when he twitches!!

Short fight so far but I'm a little satisfied with how it's going. I read this chapter while listening to "Naruto OST3 - trk 12 - Sarutobi" and the old music total kicks ass! I really hope they use some of the old music in this season. They still haven't released a few tracks from the first season that I'm still looking forward to.

Hmm, I didn't know there was no new naruto this week. And they were actually going to start fighting. This is why the anime fails. Oh well, I only skim through the episodes anyway.


Now the good shit is the manga.

Woa, the table turned so many times in this chapter. First you think Deidera wins then Sasuke then back to Deidera again. That was crazy, seeing Sasuke disintegrating like that. I wonder if Deidera's C4 is the same thing or something else. I'm going to guess Sasuke's cursed seal weakens him so someone comes to save him and I bet it's going to be Sakura, but who knows? Anything can happen.

You give shippuuden too much credit. You listed 8 episodes. The episodes end almost exactly on the last page of each chapter and there's 11 chapters to the fighting (aftermath not counting). This is going to be a boring long year for Naruto.
I wish it would go back to the way the old episodes were -at least 2 chapters in an episode. The dragging of each episode is so bad. They're trying to make it suspenseful but it's not fooling anyone. It just makes the show anti-climatic and suck.
