I realize this isn't going to be a popular statement but the only thing that twists my testicles harder than fanservice is Joss Whedon's form of fanservice.
Yes, its cute that you write in a gimicky fashion - but your talent ran aground after the fourth or fifth season of Buffy. Everything since has been a copy of a copy; this is just you trying to capture the lightning in the bottle that was the Buffy musical episode. Stop it. You're a burnout, Joss. No number of fans can save you. Jam it back in, in the dark.
