I have this vga adapter and plugging my ps2 in it certainly does look nice on an LCD. Unless you're seriously lacking space or big TVs I wouldn't bother as the effect of the console is then limited to such a small screen. Resolution of this model only does 1024 x 768 as well so the bigger the LCD then you start having bad images doesn't matter on CRTs though). It's just not the same when compared to a big screen TV with a decent sound system even though the image is better.
