I'm definitely interested in this game. I'm actually glad they decided to push it back once instead of rushing it out and releasing a buggy and incomplete game *coughUT3cough*. PvP in WoW has always felt tacked on and an after thought by the developers to me. Even with the whole BG daily quests, and the arenas, I can't shake the vibe that WoW really is still a PvE only game despite what Blizzard's reps will claim when stating they focus on both areas. That's why I'm really interested in this game because it sounds like it's going to have a PvP gameplay model that makes for exciting combat, and true war against fictitious factions.

Even with that said, I'm not holding my breath since there's been plenty of games that have been hyped as the next big MMO or the "WoW killer" that haven't exactly panned out. If anyone's looking for a fansite for this game, I occasionally check Warhammer Alliance for recent news on the beta.

How ya doing, buddy?

This game is getting a little bit better the more time Mythic has to flesh out the bugs. I know it seems like the early adopters are suffering through the true "beta test" phase, and I can't deny that...but it's headed in the right direction. It's unfortunate that the title got rushed, but there are enough players sticking around to keep it going for a while.
I agree, Mythic has the right idea in mind, and it's unfortunate that either they or EA forced them to release it in September as I can't help but feel it would've fared better had it been released after the new year. But what's done is done. I'm just glad that there hasn't been any doom and gloom posting about it in this thread as I've seen practically everywhere else where the game is being discussed. I'm currently taking a break from the game since I feel the need to break from multiplayer gameplay entirely for awhile, but the 1.1 patch sounds promising thus far, and while some of their changes have been questionable, it's the same "cant please everybody" situation. I look forward to seeing what Mythic might be able to do in order to make the Open RVR lakes just as appealing as scenarios.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
