You could say that again. I always loved it how Mario or Luigi would activate their Starman in the SNES version just as I happened to be close enough to get hit by it. It got so bad, that my brother and I started playing as Mario and Luigi just so the CPU couldn't have that advantage. One thing is for sure about the AI in Mario Kart, it teaches you to be ruthless to win.
