This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature! |
It will be interesting to see if the requirements for the death knight to become available to players will need to be fulfilled through raiding only, or if there will be options available to players of both sides. My cynical side, says that it'll be only available to raiders of the top raiding instance that gets released with the expansion, which will probably be killing or obtaining something from Arthas in order to complete what will probably amount to a long quest chain of consumables before it's finally unlocked.
My positive side is hoping that there will be options for raiders and non-raiders, or basically a PvE path (raiders) and possibly a PvP path (non-raiders). It seems like Blizz learned with TBC how to somewhat better balance their content between both game types in at least allowing players to progress one way or another no matter which path they decided to choose. Time will of course tell. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature! |
Ha, good ol Tigole.....Mr. I-don't-see-a-problem-with-healer-shortages.......suuuuure you don't because that's "working as intended" right?
![]() Yeah, I don't like Tigole much. Kalgan on the other hand isn't nearly as bad most of the time. Somewhat off topic, but I hope Warhammer brings some real competition to WoW because sometimes it feels like the developers are getting a little lazy with bugs that still exist in the game since release, and "looking into" various class issues with no follow up, among other things. Still WotLK sounds very nice so far, and Blizz did a pretty good job with TBC in trying to level the playing field so you didn't have to become that guy in South Park just to progress your character. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature! |
If you want a good money making character, roll a hunter, take two gathering profs (like skinning and mining), and spec Beast Mastery as you level. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature!

I know what you mean Zinc, I've been having periods where I've been fed up with WoW and then coming back as well a few days to a week later for a long time now. It finally came to an end last month when I decided to cancel the 3 month recurring subscription plan and move on. The game just wasn't fun anymore, and I felt I had seen and experienced all that I had wanted to for the time being. For other MMOs I've pretty much gotten hooked on LOTRO and EQ2. Both have far superior communities, and they make WoW look like a paid version of battle.net.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature! |
I'm loving all the crying and whining on the official forums right now of the raiders who feel like they'll "have" to clear both the 10 and 25 man versions of the raid dungeons. It sounds like an interesting change in theory. Because of this change, one possibility I could see is 25 man raiding becoming less popular, since most players who want epics out of raiding will naturally go for the 10 man version. Then all the raiders will probably be whining of how Blizzard supposedly killed raiding yet again by making it accessible to more people.
Of course, I could also see this going the other way as well, in that the 10 man dungeon's epics might not be nearly as good, thus prompting all the smaller guilds, who can field 10 folks consistently but have trouble organizing or growing to the 25 person threshold, of being forced to run the 25 man dungeon to get the "real" epics. Wait and see though. Even with this info and the other sections I read, I still don't feel excited about WotLK as I did with TBC. Especially not to renew my account. Maybe I'm too burnt out or too jaded towards Blizzard after 3 years of the game. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature! |
