No BSODs of the sort (nv4_disp.dll), or anything remotely related to drivers? First thing that comes to mind is do you have VSync enabled? I've never myself had this kind of problem before--my videocard problem (major artifacting) ended up being a PSU on its way out the door. I would imagine videocard symptoms are different between each one in correlation with a faulty PSU; you can take that route and pop your PSU in a friend's computer and trying out the equivalent of your games on his computer. Other things:

- Check card's seating and reseat if necessary.
- If AGP, Fastwrites and Sideband Addressing enabled?
- Try dusting your AGP/PCI slot with compressed air.

I would actually advise you dust your whole setup to ensure proper airflow; due to overheating, your graphics card will start to throttle to prevent frying your card. Good luck.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Now that I think about it, check the thermal paste and heatsink's seating on your card also. Some fresh, new AS5 couldn't hurt.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
