That's AWESOME music there.
Hardest game that comes to mind is Zelda: The Adventure of Link for the Nes. Man that game was hard. I blame it on the weird controlls, though. As far as hard, and not flawed games go, I found the Lolo series for the nes pretty challenging at the time. Also, the darned Kickle Cubicle
Past the main story and having rescued the King (or princess, can't really remember), you have a whole new world ahead of you. Those damn leves were really challenging. Also...
