I can see the point you're making, but you're doing it more from a collector's perspective. From a gamer's perspective though, wouldn't you rather have as many people as possible play one of your favorite games so that they have a chance to enjoy it as much as you do, regardless of how much it ruins the value of the game? That's how I feel about it, anyway.
