Damn, these have all been great so far. I largely missed this due to being so busy with school for the last few weeks, so I didn't get to sign up, but I'd love to do something so I guess sign me up for next year.
![]() Seriously though, great job so far everyone, keep up the good work. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
Well if you really don't mind, I certainly would like to take the spot. I don't have anything specific that I want to write about in mind yet, but I'm sure I can think of something fairly soon. So I guess if it's okay with you (I honestly feel a bit bad that you wouldn't get to write about your first pick, regardless of how obscure it is) and Angel of Light, I'll take the 24th.
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
I have fond memories of Golden Sun. Not because it's a good game or anything (it isn't), but because it was one of the first GBA games I ever played. Back in my freshman year of high school, my friend Richard had a GBA and my group of friends and I would go to the library and play it in the mornings before class started. The only games he had at the time was Golden Sun and Tekken Advance (also terrible), but fuck, I didn't even care because a game was a game and I'd rather be doing anything other than dreading the school upcoming school day.
So we would sit there playing these clearly terrible games just because they were there. Golden Sun was definitely the lesser of the two, as it was the most generic RPG I had played at the time (and probably still is as of today). At least in Tekken, we had fun trying to beat each others' times in survival mode, but with Golden Sun, we had to suffer in solitude. So you know what, fuck Richard. I have no idea where he is now, but fuck him and his terrible taste in games. And fuck Camelot for making this terrible game to begin with. No offense is meant to Hawkeye for liking this game...unless he's Richard. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
