Im not all hyped up with RoD cause I know how great it is. I am interested to see the TV series dubbed though. If I remember right Adult Swim only aired the OVA.

Adult Swim showed the OVA, and G4 showed the TV series back when they had their 'Anime Unleashed' lineup.

But yeah, I'm excited to see some of these shows, so I can't wait for this to start. I don't really download many fansubbed shows, so watching stuff on TV is about the only way I get exposure to new shows other than buying them on DVD.

I don't know about it being uncensored, though. I remember watching one of those Fatal Fury OVAs on Sci-Fi years ago, and they censored all the naughty bits. Can't remember if they did language as well, though.

How ya doing, buddy?

And since ADV, which owns the rights to Noir, I believe has its own channel (Anime Network, was it?) I'd be surprised if they'd show any of their stuff anywhere but on there.
Well, they let Adult Swim show Evangelion last year. But for the most part, I doubt they would let other channels air any of their stuff.

Blood - Aired it (Did they air the movie? I dont remember O.o)
No, they've only been airing the series. I specifically downloaded the movie to watch before the series because they never showed it.

I've watched all of what Adult swim has aired so far of Blood+ (up to episode 12, I believe), and while it definitely isn't as dark as the movie, it's still good in its own ways. But while the movie was more about action, the show so far has been more of a character driven affair. There is action, it's just not the focus of the show.

I initially didn't like it (especially compared to the movie), but it eventually grew on me. I'd say watch at least the first five or so episodes, and if you still don't like it by then you'll probably never like it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Man, I haven't been watching the whole thing, but I just saw a little bit of GitS: SSS, and they were blurring out some robot-maid looking woman's (at least I think that's what she was) ass. I knew they were gonna edit/censor stuff on here, even showing it this late at night.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I'm gonna have to agree with Lacerta, it seems like very little was edited and/or it was done pretty smoothly if there was a lot of it.[/spoiler]
Well, like I said, I just turned it on at that one time, so it was pretty disheartening to see it being edited at the one time I tuned in. And even though there wasn't that much editing, compared to what AS would have had (which, based on the edits made, it seems like there would have been none) it still seems like a lot.

Anyway, I'm not even sure if it's coming on Sci-Fi again, so I'll probably just wind up buying the DVD version.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I miss G4's Anime Unleashed line-up. ;_;

They had Daul, Read Or Die, and possibly more.......
Yeah, they had a whole bunch more. Some of my favorites were Crest/Banner ofthe Stars, Lain, Gungrave, Last Exile, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, and Betterman. Some of the others I remember them showing were Gad Guard, Geneshaft, Colorful, Silent Mobius, and I think even a couple of movies on a few occasions (I know they aired one of the Armitage movies).

Damn, I didn't realize they aired so many shows. Just looking at that list I would say they were almost on par with AS.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
