My sister just showed me this before I saw this thread. This is pretty awesome, so I'll pick up a few games. From the ones shown I'll probably get Wario and Spectrobes, but since there's over 30 in total, there will probably be at least a couple more that I wind up getting.
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
But back on target (lol, crappy pun), I'm really trying to figure out what these '30 great titles' can be. I know that Targets in my city don't even have 30 DS games on the shelf at once, let alone 30 great DS games. It seems most likely that every DS game they have that's not already $20 or less will be going for this price. I'll just have wait until tomorrow to see. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
But it does say 'build your game collection from over 30 great titles!'
![]() But yeah, it's pretty much a given that most of the games will be crappy (more of them will probably lean towards the Hannah Montana and Pet Vet side then the NSMB and Yoshi's Island side), but I'm still curious as to which games it will include. If worst comes to worst, I'll at least be leaving with the two games I mentioned earlier. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Just got back from Target (two different ones, actually), and just as I expected, the selection wasn't that good. Well, not for me anyway, as most of the games either sucked (all the Disney show-based games) or were games that I already owned.
I did manage to get Spectrobes and Wario though, and the only game I got that wasn't in the ad was Super Mario 64 DS. They had Super Princess Peach on sale, but neither store had any copies, so I may go to another Target later to try and get that. And while they had Custom Robo Arena there, it wasn't one of the games on sale (it didn't have any price tag on it, so I asked the guy to scan it and it came up for $30). And for anyone wondering, FFIII DS is one of the games on sale as well. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
I honestly didn't even think about that (I had a hard enough time finding someone to come and get the games from behind the case). If they have it at the other Target I'm going to tomorrow, I'll get it from there, and if not, I'll just have to go back to that other one and ask for the manager.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
Just went back there today. Still no Super Princess Peach (
), but I did manage to get Custom Robo for $24. It took like ten minutes of constantly pointing to the 'includes all reg $29.99 and above DS games', part if the ad, but at least I finally got it.And Chaotic, if you're thinking about Spectrobes, I'd say go ahead and get it. I only played a little bit of it (like only up to the first battle), but it was pretty good. Good 3D graphics for a DS game, and the battle system was pretty unique for a monster battling game (you control the main character, while the monsters are at your side; you attack with the face buttons while you use L and R button to make the respective monster fight). This will probably be the cheapest it's gonna be in months (if it ever goes down), so you might as well get it now if you're interested. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
