I'll probably give this show a chance when it comes out. The way I figure, no further Digimon animation could be worse than Frontier (it totally ruined the entire series for me), so this show has to at least be somewhat good. I'm not expecting it to be Tamers good (or probably not even Adventure/02 good), but at least if it's somewhat interesting I'll stick with it (though I'm not desperate enough to watch raws just to see it).

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The Frontier dub wasn't bad, it was just the story that sucked. I haven't seen it in Japanese, but I thought the dub was probably the best part of that show, since almost everything else about it is bad.

Needless to say, that was the last one I ever watched.

I'm not really up to date on fansubbed anime (I hardly watch any), but I assume I can get these on animesuki, right? If so, I'll try to download them and watch them tonight.

EDIT: Okay, there is like three different versions. Which one should I get?

Okay, I just got through watching the first two episodes, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I knew the show couldn't be any worse than Frontier, but I think it's almost as good as Tamers! It's still early though, so anything can happen.

First off, I love the new digivices. The design of them is pretty cool, and I like how they have the ability to store the digimon inside of them (though, unlike pokeballs, you can still interact with your digimon). The only thing I want to know more about is how come Masaru has to attack the enemy digimon first to get its data or whatever to make Agumon evolve even though Yoshino doesn't have to do that to make Raramon evolve. Does it have to do with Masaru, Agumon, or the digivice itself (kinda weird how some old guy just came up and gave it to him)?

As for the digimon themselves, I haven't really liked any of them so far except for Agumon/GeoGreymon (though I did like that turlte-looking one inside DATS HQ as comic relief). Raramon/Sunflomon doesn't look too good and also doesn't look too powerful, and Kudamon's design annoys me for some reason. Hopefully he'll be good in battle though. Both the enemy digimon so far haven't appealed to me either, but we'll probably never see them again so that doesn't matter.

Overall, I'm definitely going to stick with this series. Unless they manage to really screw up the plot, I don't see this series being that bad.

Thanks for the link! I just got a new computer, so I haven't downloaded a torrent program yet.

I'm downloading it now, but I don't when I'll get around to watching it. I'm typing a paper now, and I have classes the next two days. I probably won't get around to it until this weekend.

Episode 3 summary: Touma is a fucking prick.

Seriously, he annoys me to no end, This series was pretty good so far until they added this generic stuck-up rich kid. And to top it all off, I hate his digimon as well. I never once found myself rooting for this guy.

At least this episode a good bad digimon in PetitMeramon/Meramon. Best one so far, though I wonder how long they're gonna keep going with these random, standalone bad guys. Maybe there will be an overarching villain when they go to the digital world.

It had the potential to be a good episode, but Touma ruined it (and possibly the whole series) for me. I hope he drops that attitude sometime during the series, because it's not very appealing.

I don't know what happened, but Masaru and Agumon seemed way more annoying in this episode to me than Touma and Gaomon (though yeah, I still hate that 'Yes, Master!" thing). I still hated Touma's attitude towards Masaru, but at least he wasn't acting brash in trying to defeat Drimogemon like Masaru was. And of course, Yoshino and Raramon were totally useless once again.

As for Drimogemon, I can't say I really liked him that much. He was just too cutesy to the point of annoyance, in my opinion. Not only that, but he never really ever seemed to fight back, another thing I didn't really like. At least he'll be doing that in the next episode, though.

I'm also still waiting for an explanation on why both Yoshino and Touma can make their digimon evolve without having to attack the enemy digimon themselves like Masaru has to. I may just be focusing on this too much, but it just bugs me that they haven't explained (or even touch on) this yet.

Next episode:
I can't wait to see what happens in the Digital World. From what they showed in the preview though, it looked kinda plain. It was probably just a small portion, though.

And thanks once again for the direct download, Wolf!

Just now got around to seeing episode 5. Damn school. Anyway, here are my thoughts on the episode:

The Digital World was pretty boring. It seemed like it was nothing but empty fields, empty caves, and empty (but conveniently placed) crystal palaces. I'm really hoping they elaborate on it more in future episodes, especially when more of the action starts to take place there (assuming more of the action takes place there later in the series).

I was glad to see Masaru and Touma bond in this episode. This is the first episode since they've both been here that neither of them have annoyed me. If they keep this up though, I should definitely be able to stand Touma for the rest of the series.

As for Drimogemon/Digmon, he still didn't work as a bad guy for me. He wasn't as annoying in this episode, but he wasn't that much better either. I still didn't think he fought back, especially as Digmon. Considering what's on the line, you would think that he would fight with a little more desperation.

As for the next episode:
Spoiler:
I can't believe they're fighting already! I thought they would have waited a little longer before creating a rift between the two.

Here are my thoughts for episode 6:

Spoiler:
First off, couldn't they find something better for them to fight over? I mean, the last piece of food? Not only is that so trivial, but it's been so many times before (though it has never really been escalated into this kind of a serious argument). I don't know, it just seemed so artificial, like they had to do this just for the sake of doing this. And of course, it ended like how we all expected it too, Masaru and Agumon making up and then taking down the bad guy, together.

But this was another episode where I just didn't like Masaru. When he acts so brash like this, I almost downright hate him. It was good to see him realize he couldn't do it on his own, but I wish he would have done that without making all those stupid decisions at first.

BlackGarurumon was pretty cool as the bad digimon for this episode, but overall I'm still not liking these standalone bad guys in every episode. I really want to see some kind of overarching bad digimon have a plot that spans over a number of episodes, to make the show feel less episodic.

As for next week, it didn't really look too appealing from the preview. It didn't even look like it would have that much action in it. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

What happened to the subs for this show? Shouldn't like the next two episodes have been released already? I hope something gets released soon, or I may have to start watching raws (if those are even being released).

Yeah, I read about episode 7 being delayed on their website, as they said they'll probably release it as a double episode with episode 8. But it's been so long that it seems like even episode 8 should have been released by now. I hope they aren't going to drop the series or something.

Wow, I didn't even know that episode 7 was out (I never even saw this thread when it was bumped), so I just saw it today.

It was an alright episode, though it was definitely one of those fun, cutesy episodes that don't really achieve anything, except for being fun and cute. Most of it was pretty prdecitable, and nothing out of the ordinary really happened. It was still fun to watch nonetheless.

Anyway, the next episode doesn't look like it will be all that great, and with the slow pace this series is coming out at, it's getting pretty hard for this show to keep my attention. It's not like I'm watching that many other series though, so I guess I'll keep watching whenever they actually release another episode.

Man, I hadn't even realized episode 8 was out (I guess I didn't see your post since it was automerged to your last one), but now I see that episode 9 is out as well. Well, at least that gives me two new episodes to watch. I'll post my thoughts on them once I get around to watching them.

I've only seen the dubbed version, but that's my favorite season as well. I guess I'll check that out just to see the original version and just because I haven't seen it in a while (I don't think I've watched it since it first aired back on FOX Kids).

Thanks for the songs Wolf! Believer is my favorite song used in the show so far, so I'm glad to finally have a clean version to listen to (instead of having to go back and watch that part of anepisode again just to hear it).

So now that's three episodes I need to catch up on. While it's good to get them in batches like this, I hope they eventually catch up again so they can go back to releasing them weekly. But for now, I'll have to find a time to watch all of these.

Damn, I just finished downloading 8,9, and 10 the other day, so I haven't even had the time to watch them yet. Now 11 and 12 are out as well? Man, I have a lot of catching up to do (though to be fair, I wouldn't be in this situation if they had kept releasing them weekly like they had before).

I've finally caught up!

Episodes 8-11 were practically all filler, and the only one that I really liked was ep 9, as it seemed more character driven than the other filler eps. But as a whole, they were all pretty boring.

Episodes 12-14 were awesome though! The plot is finally picking up (and they finally actually have an overarching plot, with a main villain and everything), as we're seeing more evolutions, better villains, and they're in the Digital World for more than a one time stint. I can't wait to see more episodes now!

Episode 15 is out, but for some reason the torrent on Animesuki didn't work for me. I had to get this one on Mininova instead (it's listed as having no seeds or leechers, but it's downloading fine (better than fine, actually) for me), but it still seems like an officially released one from WtW. I'll try to check it out soon to make sure it's legit.

I finished downloading it (yeah, those speeds were pretty crazy), and even though I haven't fully watched it, I can tell that it's definitely the real thing. I should be able to watch the whole thing sometime soon this week.

And I hope that WtW goes on another releasing spree and releases a lot of episodes soon, because it has been a pretty long while between the last release and this one. i know they've been having some problems recently, but hopefully this release is a sign of something good.

I finally watched ep 15 last night!

Can't say I had a personal connection like you did, Wolf, but I was still touched by this episode. I definitely think it had the most emotional impact of any episode so far, and overall, I found it to be a really well done way of doing a flashback sequence.

And yeah, MachGaogaman was pretty awesome. I actually can't decide whether I like him or RiseGreymon more, but their both pretty damn cool. That sucks for Lalamon though, as I doubt her Perfect form will ever be as cool as those two.

Anyway, now the wait for episode 16.

Hmm, I really liked WtW's subbing, but I'm not gonna let their stopping stop me from watching the series. If watching this new group's sub is the only way to watch it (other than raws, which would really suck), then I'll have to give them a chance. Who knows, maybe they'll be as good as (or better than) WtW. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Has any other news about this show come up (since I can never seem to find any)? I still have a couple of episodes I haven't caught up with yet, which I've been neglecting to watch since I don't see the point if I won't be able to see the rest.

I also wanted to ask you, Wolf, if you have another link to eps 21 and 22. I procrastinated in getting them the first time, and now the pages is gone! Any help with that would be appreciated.

Cool! I'll make sure to get this right now. Have you heard anything about how good their subbing is? I still like WtW's the best, but of course I'm not gonna complain when I have no other alternative.

By the way, I hate to trouble you even more, but it seems I don't have episode 20 either. Do you have any links for that one? And if not, could I trouble you to upload that one later as well?

Also, is there any info about that game? Like what kind of game it is (even though I'm assuming it's an RPG), or if it's coming to America?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
