Guess the anime Screencap: Revisited

As a very basic guess, it looks like some kind of Street Fighter anime, or just some type of fighting anime in general (I said it was basic).

Well, considering I've never seen any Street Fighter anime, I'll just take a guess (this of course is if chato isn't right) and say Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, since it looks old.

Nope, but I'll give a hint: This show is more recent than both shows guessed so far, but has already finished airing in Japan (and it was only 12 episodes).

I know this is totally wrong, but I'm gonna guess Blue Seed. The animation kinda reminds me of it, but I don't remember seeing any of that stuff in the first episode (or any of the episodes I saw for that matter).

That pic kinda reminds me of Soul Taker, but I don't remember a submarine from that show like in the previous pic.

I don't know what the show is, but by the way it's set up, it looks like the screenshot is from a show within the show, since it's all fuzzy like a TV screen.

I'll guess Wolf's Rain, since that's what the animation style in the second pic reminds of, and it did air back in 2003. I think I also heard that some people didn't like its story, though I really enjoyed it.

I'll take a guess and say The Prince of Tennis. It fits your criteria (not new, ongoing show that has an OVA), but the animation doesn't look similar to what I've seen of the show.

Well, I have been watching a lot of One Piece lately, so the animation style jumped out at me right away. The fact that you said it was from a popular anime made me almost absolutely sure that One Piece was the right answer.
