Same here. I pressed a little too hard one time with the stylus on my regular DS, and I totally freaked out. Luckily nothing was wrong with it, but just seeing the screen like that...ehh! There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
The stylus controls everything in the game, to a point where you don't have to use any buttons at all (not even for movement). I was a little skeptical of that at first, but Star Fox Command is almost exactly the same, and it turned out well, so I think this will be good as well.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Wow, good thing I didn't get it then. I was considering it, but $30 seemed like way too much for a game I knew wouldn't be that good in the first place.
So I wonder have they told all the retailers, so no one else will actually buy a copy of this game. I mean, if they just leave them up on the shelves, how will you even know if you have a faulty game or not once the fixed versions actually come out? I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
It mainly seems to be first party titles that stay up in price the longest. Most third party titles usually have a price drop in about six months to a year after their release.
I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
ashaman, I've never played a King's Field game before, but from what I hear most people who have enjoyed Deep Labyrith as well. I did play Deep Labyrinth myself though, and I can say that it does fit most of your criteria.
The game consists of two different scenarios, and they are both pretty lengthy (it took me at least twenty hours for both of them, meaning the game took me about forty hours in total to beat). As for gameplay, you use the touchscreen to do everything, including casting magic, which you have to draw on the screen yourself (similar to the game LostMagic, though, especially for someone like me who can't draw, this game is much more forgiving if you mess up). And SOLDIER, you should definitely play the first one before the sequel. I don't know how many references the second one is gonna have to the first one, but you should play it first so you can catch them all. Plus, it's just a good introduction to all the characters and the world in general. It's also one of the best DS games ever, and probably has more stuff than the second one will anyway, since it has one case more than the second one does. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
But since his is imported, even if the warranty is still good, I imagine it would only be so in Japan (meaning he would have to contact and send it to them if there was any chance of getting a free replacement, though the shipping would make it costly anyway). He could probably get NoA to fix it, but he would definitely have to pat for it, I imagine.
My advice is to just get the black one at some place like Best Buy, and get an extended warranty plan with them. That way, if anything goes wrong with it within a two-year window, you can just take it back to the store and get a new one. And it's only like $20 or something, which isn't that bad since it's longer than Nintendo's warranty, and you wouldn't have to worry about sending anything back to them (i.e. being without your DS for weeks).
