IBM thinkpads are pretty awesome. it dont has os x though.
 Seriously though, I recommend a MacBook. They are fast, have amazing battery life, and (imho) OS X is better then windows (plus you could even run windows if you wanted.) The only downside to getting Apple hardware really is the price. ;_; On the other hand, Radical is right; If you're just going to use it for typing, reading, and light browsing or whatever, you don't need a top-of-the-line machine. You can get a good hp/Apple/IBM/whatever pretty cheep used. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
