Retarded flashback chapter, and Shikamaru thought of a plan just by LOOKING at Hidan. The plan must fail, Hidan can't die this early and Asuma can't live too long, or else his sudden development won't have any credibility. The quality of the manga is so inconsistent, this week was a total disappointment.

So much awesome happened, it's hard to sum it up. Kakuzu smashes Asuma with his suitcase, reattaches Hidan's head back again, Filler 1 summons Cloyster from Pokémon, Filler 2 spits sticky liquid, Kakuzu strangles both of them with his extendable arms attached by wire, Hidan curses Asuma again and hits himself with his scythe and to finish it off, he stabs himself with his pike one more time. Next week we will find out if Asuma is dead (very likely).

Also, Hidan and Kakuzu were not panicking. They were about to kill everyone until the leader ordered them to return at once. Note that they still haven't left yet, so anything can happen. Whatever will happen, it will be a disadvantage for the good guys. Also, the leader is not related to Kurenai, she isn't significant and even if he was, no one would give a shit.

Another thing, the guy with the sunglasses is Aoba. Don't ever forget that name, because he rules.

At least Shikamaru got pwned twice and nearly cried when Asuma got voodoo stabbed.

About Asuma, we kind of saw that coming. But Kurenai's team is the least important. She isn't even that powerful (she became a Jounin when the series started, Neji was Jounin 10 years before reaching her age). On that note, we still don't know what Asuma wanted to tell Kakashi in the hospital. We will find out soon, probably.

About Hidan and Kakuzu, they were merely surprised. Even with so many Konoha nin, they can still fight on. Note how they scarred Shikamaru mentally. When Kakuzu jumped after them to the top of the building, he lost his fucking mind. Ino and Chouji were braver than him. I don't understand why he still has fans. =| It's been noted more often, but Shikamaru had NO stamina at all. He did a couple of shadow moves and after that, he was completely drained. He had more stamina when he fought Temari 3 years ago.

Yes, that WAS the Akatsuki leader. You could clearly see that he had spiked hair and guess what other unknown member had spiked hair on the color page of 317? The leader. The other person is probably a female with shoulder long hair and a flower and that was definitely not her sitting there. It's that simple.

So fucking what if the Akatsuki wants world domination? I thought most people figured that out already from reading chapter 238/episode 135. It's proven that most members can go on killing sprees (Deidara for example, he attempted to blow up an entire village with on attack. Kisame can create huge tidal waves at way less than 30 percent of his power.). Sure, it's a cliche thing, but in a world where everyone can have fucked up powers and all, world domination doesn't sound bad at all. And Itachi killed his clan so he could measure his pathetic powers, but I don't see why people still care about him, he's insignificant now.

Stop whining, this current arc is way better than the last one.

Fanboy? Nope. They want world domination and with the powers of those beasts, they can destroy people standing in the way, the ninja countries (the only thing they wanted of the Sand was Gaara, but Deidara got pissed, so he attempted to blow up the village so he could distract Gaara in order to capture him). There are plenty of other countries that don't have ninjas that they can take over.

Sure it's cliche, but what other ambition should they have? They obviously need to aim for something major if you ever want to see the good guys in action.
