Hmm, I'm thinking a little differently than some of the recent posts:
Spoilers for Heroes 1.10:
On that note however More 1.10 spoilers!:
Also, it could possibly explain why in Episode 9: Spoilers for 1.09 and 1.10:
Something I read on another board though that I found highly interesting: Not really a spoiler...:

Grail, you are not the only one. I do not think Nathan is evil at all. He may be a big asshole and he may do things that seem messed up, but I think he has good intentions. When he destroyed the painting that Peter wanted, I don't think it was because he wanted the cheerleader dead, it was because he wanted his brother alive.
He's an alpha male and I think soon things are going to go (more) out of control for him and he's going to be screwed up because he seems to be the person who needs to have control over his life and the life of the people he feels he's responsible for. Personally, I feel Peter is more in danger of being evil than Nathan. I still think the similarities between Peter and Sylar are not coincidental. And now we have this strange dream... Also, in case this might interest anyone, I found a set of interviews by the writers at a site called Comic Book Resources. They answer a lot of questions that people have and they give hints of things to come. Personally, they're not that spoilery...but if you are a spoilerphobe and wish to know NOTHING, then don't read them. CBR Interview (Week 11). It's been weekly so far, I'm not sure if it will continue to be weekly until the show airs again. I do have a question for anyone who is a comic book enthusiast because because I totally missed out on this reference. Maybe a Spoiler? Who know!:
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Peter is all about this "This is my destiny, I was meant for something greater than what I am now, blah blah blah." Guess who else was saying the same thing not too long ago? Sylar. I'm sure if someone wanted to take advantage of Peter and make him go more towards his dark side, they easily could by playing up to Peter's need to do great things. It'd be cool if the writers go in that direction, and I'm hoping they do. I think that they're already hinting at it with Sylar appearing in Peter's dreams. Well see though.
I hope Nathan doesn't do that though, or if he does I hope he'd survive because Nathan is already my favorite character and I hope they don't have that sort of redemption through sacrfice arc for him. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

SenorKaffe- I hope that happens. That would be so awesome, yet sad, but awesome nevertheless.
Okay, I guess I'm the only loser who rewatched the promo for next weeks episode but. Spoiler:
Also I caught that HRG was trying to make it seem like it was all the Hatian's fault. That Thompson guy at the end of the episode was all like "Man, I can't believe the Hatian did that right in front of you, boy are you stupid for not figuring that out." So I wouldn't count him out on the shows. Not spoilers but just speculation. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Abducting people, brainwashing them and tracking them like animals in the wild is not very cool, but is it necessary? Would/Could these superhumans deal with being treated this way? What about their families? Claude mentioned vivisection, and really I think that's crossing the line between morally grey and just wrong, especially considering that it doesn't seem that people who get taken by HRG's organization don't have a choice in the matter. However, if I had a family and we lived right next to Ted, and I found out about his radioactive powers...well...I'd be pretty damn scared, and I'm not sure if I'll be too sympathetic to a guy who has the potential to give everyone surrounding him cancer...especially if he may not be able to control it. I think that Ted is on a deathlist of sorts. Also, they kill people with powers deemed to dangerous and/or out of control. Which then makes me conflicted. It's not Ted's fault that he was born with this ability. I think it's interesting to notice how HRG and his boss refer to superpowered humans as "them". Almost as if superhumans are not human any more. Which would probably make it easier on their conscience to handle invading these people's privacy so much. Frankly, all of this is the reason why I think HRG is still not completely good. I mean he felt moved to do something about this when it regarded someone he knew and cared about. But ethically, it's still pretty grey. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Here's an interview from Tim Kring:
FELIPE NO |
Yesterday's episode was kickass!
I heard the Canadian broadcast got the Japanese intro, so I was expecting that and didn't get it! Come on show, you've never shied away from the language barrier before. Major, major props to the actors who play Sylar and Mohinder. Their scenes were the highlight of the show. Frankly, this episode could have been the Sylar and Mohinder show (guest starring Peter) and I would not have missed anyone much. With that said, I must have watched these scenes at least four times. Still awesome. Episode 18 stuff:
Moving on to something else: preview spoilers:
Oh and... Spoilers Regarding Episode 20:
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
