Taking stock in anything American as "average" is a foolish thing to do. There's too much, too many people and too many places, for any real average to be true of "American." There are certain generals for the human race though, and this demonstrates one of the worse ones. What that is exactly, I'm not sure. Apologies for that, I just woke up.
P.S. I just remembered Winston's rule regarding America. "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they've exhausted all other options." Jam it back in, in the dark. |
