Yea those Steelers sure know how to take down the Ravens. Oh wait, what happened the last two years when we had worse teams than we do now?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Really, that typo with know instead of now threw you off that much? Well my point was that we could take apart your super bowl caliber team with Kyle Boller and a rusty Jamal Lewis. I find it amusing that you're so much more confident after your star quarterback crashed in a motorcycle accident and we got Steve McNair.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Where was the apeshit defensiveness? I'm more than a little confused. I question that the Steelers will win and you think I'm going apeshit. S'okay Wojo. Thanks for the rating by the way, having a rating of 5 was really throwing off my mojo. HE DOESNT SUPPORT MY FOOTBALL TEAM, MUST RATE LOWER.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

TO didn't "try" to commit suicide. He claims it was a misunderstanding, but I think he wanted to act the melodramatic drama queen we all know him to be. "Oh gee I'm so sad and these pills look so tasty."

How ya doing, buddy?

What a great ending to that game. I can't believe it doesn't show at my college. Safety, followed by a drive against the "best" defense in the league for a game winning touchdown. Then we sack their unsacked QB to end the game. I like it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

The punt was 10 yards.

I put that loss entirely on Jamal Lewis. We need to get rid of him, he is not the man he was 2 years ago. This Anderson character however has potential.

It was a very exciting game for the first half and a terribly disappointing one in the second.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

If I was a coach, intelligence might matter here. I'm just a Ravens fan, I can blame whoever the fuck I want. I would like to point out though, that after averaging something around 5.5 and 4.5 yards per carry in 2003 and 2004, Jamal has sucked ass. When you have a quarterback like Steve McNair, who is decent, but not amazing, you need a strong running game. We no longer have one in Jamal and if you'd been following the Ravens for the past few years, that's always been the one thing we had going for us on offense.

Them Raiders sure are a fearsome team. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've seen a team score 20 points when their quarterback had stats of 5/14 for 51 yards and 1 interception.

On the other hand the Ravens finally showed some offensive production, driving 80 yards down the field to get McNair one of his 3 touchdowns, but as usual our defense provided the padding with two interception returns. Glad to see the Falcons and the Colts win with Manning having an unbelievable game and Vick showing that he can pass too.

No, I didn't watch the game, I can't spend my entire Sunday watching football where I go to college.

I'm well aware they didn't score a touchdown on offense as you can obviously tell by the fact that I looked at the stats of the game. I just found it amusing that a team that managed to have 98 yards of total offense managed to beat the Super Bowl champions of last year. I don't know, seems kind of unusual.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

What happened during the last play in the last Ravens drive? I have to watch on NFL.com because Baltimore never gets shown here in Philadelphia, but I was more than a little surprised when I saw this line come up in play-by-play:

I'd have to guess that it was a botched field goal attempt, but even that doesn't make a great deal of sense.

The Ravens Tennessee game was simply ridiculous. McNair was almost singlehandedly the cause of 16 points scored by the Titans, but at the same time he threw for 380 yards and 3 touchdowns. The story would likely have been completely different if Ray Lewis was starting.

Oh well, at least we avoided the upset with a field goal block.

The Ravens weren't particularly outplayed, we just couldn't get as much for our 300 yards as the Bengals did for theirs. Stover missing a field goal due to a bad snap on his second try (the Bengals called a timeout just prior to the snap on the first one, something that I feel shouldn't be legitimate at all.) and BJ Sams, one of the best returners in the league, getting a broken leg did not help at all.

Either way, as far as losses go, that one wasn't very worrisome except for the loss of our star returner for most likely the remainder of the season.

I've decided that the Giants are almost as much fun to watch as the Ravens just because I can see Coughlin's soul being sucked away by the team he's failing to coach. Two plays stood out for me:

1)# 97 Mathias Kiwanuka intercepting Romo's pass and then immediately dropping the ball for a fumble to let the Cowboys gain 5 yards and get a new set of downs after failing to sack Vince Young last week.

2)Plaxico Burress, after drawing a questionable pass interference call, charges across the field to ram a Cowboy defender 20 minutes after the play was called dead. Last week (oh and the one before that) Burress gave up on seemingly reachable passes that ended up as interceptions.

The Giants are on a roll.

However, unlike previous years, now only about 10% of non-local viewers can actually watch the games.

If the Patriots win Sunday, things are looking bright for the Ravens. We're playing a team notorious for playoff chokes at home with the possibility of having the Pats topple the Chargers so we won't have to travel to San Diego.

Superbowl prediction:

Ravens 31 - Saints 3

The first Reed interception was dead, he was touched by the Colts receiver when he came down. The second however, holy fuck. Reed laterals the ball to Cmac before he landed out of bounds with loads of potential for a strong return.

On Lewis, he averaged nearly 5 yards a carry and Billick gave him a lowly 13 carries, how the hell does that make sense.

My take on the game: Someone painted Kyle Boller black and threw him McNair's Jersey because that wasn't Steve McNair I saw out there.
