Computer turned off by itself

Hey, just wonder if anyone can make anything of this. First, my computer is plugged into a power surge protector outlet. Earlier today, all the power in the house went out and my computer shut off. Power came back a few minutes later, then I restarted it and was working fine for a couple hours. Then, all of a sudden the end program windows came up and all my apps closed and it turned off. Tried to boot it again, then it turned off right away when it got to the desktop.

So I waited a little bit then I turned it on and now it seems to be ok for now. Any ideas what caused it?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well it was, then I left my computer on over night. Btw, the computer was making sort of a buzzing noise when It would turn on. But when I woke up I saw that the computer was turning off and restarting itself over and over. This was probably happening over night because the computer wouldnt even boot to the windows logo. Then it would keep trying to turn itself back on. The only way I could prevent this was to pull the plug out of the outlet.

So I left it off for a few days. I turned it back on and and it still makes the buzzing noise in the beginning but it would actually let me go do stuff now without shutting off and here I am. I dont know how long itll be before it might shut off again but Im shutting it off from now on instead of leaving it on sometimes when I go to sleep. So what you think the problem is? Is it gone now or you guys think somethins still up with it? Few of my friends said it could be the power supply or the hard drive dying cuz of the noise. What do you guys think?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Hmm ok, it just turned off on me again now. This is getting so annoying.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
