Like what's already been said, open up one of them and extract it. You should have a 5 gig ISO file after that. Assuming you don't have any dual-layer DVD-Rs laying around, d/l a program like Alcohol 120% that has virtual drive support so you can mount the ISO and install.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

This is kind of a no-brainer, but make sure you don't have any firewall applications running. I had the same problem when I first got on because I forgot to disable PeerGuardian.

How ya doing, buddy?

How the hell are you guys still playing this? I'm only lvl 22 and I'm sick to fucking death of these levels. Moatoob isn't out, but it's only going to slightly delay the inevitable: boredom. Don't ask me how I never got bored with PSO, I guess it's because it was a simple game and really laid back. I think PSU's complexity mixed with repetitive levels just don't go together well. Here's to hoping they can somehow release updates with new maps/stages that PS2 can play without releasing a $20 expansion pack, because I really don't want to quit a game I waited 1 1/2 - 2 years for.

I've been working a lot lately, and when I get home I just don't feel like slaying the dragon 40 times in a row. I guess I'm just dead tired of this game, heh. Moatoob included. I'll pay the next month to see what, or IF they'll have any holiday events, but after that idk if I'll play anymore.

Sad to say it doesn't have the 5 year staying power PSO had.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I don't like Moatoob, it's boring. And the boss is the same as the one on Neudaiz but with a few more attacks. The new missions on Parum are nice, but not enough people play them. They just do De Ragon runs all day.

Well, I quit the game back on December 3rd. I got a 360 a couple weeks ago, played the PSU trial because I was bored, and loved it. All the huge problems I had with the PS2 version are gone. So I bought it, and I'm back.

What all updates have come out since the December update?

And anyone got the 360 version here?

I've spent $110 on this game because I'm an idiot. You think you have it bad?

$50 for game on PS2
+ $10 monthly fee

Didn't like all the framerate drops, idiots in the lobbies, and crap like that and eventually got an Xbox 360. So....

$40 for game on 360
+ $10 monthly fee

And it's really not that much better. I only ended up playing two hours of the online version and decided to cancel for good. I may pick it back up again later after college stops kicking my ass, who knows. It was such a pain in the ass to cancel over the phone, I doubt I'll be doing the subscribe-unsubscribe-resubscribe-unsubscribe crap like I did with PSOBB.

But that's the sad thing. I was more hyped for this game than any other game ever made because PSO was my favorite game of all time. But the more I play this game, the more I miss PSO. It wasn't supposed to work that way. And I don't even know what it is about this game I don't like, it's just boring. It's like PSO but with more content and better gameplay, but the levels look and feel so blah.

Once I get my computer fixed I may actually subscribe to PSOBB again.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

How's the population of the 360 version nowadays? I'm thinking of resubscribing. I played the PS2 version to about lvl 30, bought the 360 version once I got a 360, got to lvl. 7, and quit because I just didn't have the time or motivation to get back up to 30. Now that I just finished finals and I'm done with school though I'd like to give the game another shot.

And would someone here like to trade cards? All the people I played with on my short time on the 360 version seemed to be interested in.......one night stands? If that makes any sense.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Merging 360 and PC/PS2? How will that work since 360 users use voice chat? Unless they put voice chat in on the PC/PS2 versions, which would be cool but that's too much of a project for them I'm sure.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

...This might be short lived anyway. My patience is pretty much run out. It don't make any sense that I'm paying 9.99/mo for a FUCKING GAME I CAN'T EVEN PLAY CAUSE PEOPLE SHUT OTHERS OUT WITH THIER STUPID ASS PASSWORDED GAMES.

Oh I hope we don't hit the goal and I hope more hacking occurs when the expansion comes out. This stupid PSU community - they ain't got nothing on the PSO community. THOSE WERE REAL PLAYERS.
Uh, no, let's NOT have hackers ruin PSU. Don't diss all PSU players just because you can't get a game going.

I agree about locked games though. People should cut down on that shit. Luckily I've never had a situation where I couldn't play because of all the locked games, I guess I just got lucky and became friends with the right people online. I almost always have someone to play with at my level when I log on and sift through my partner cards.

How ya doing, buddy?
