I remember listening to Rimo's 'Fury of the Furries' rip a while back, and I really enjoyed it. Fury of the Furries (PC Game Rip) - Lagoon is groovy featuring a slick combination of musical styles. There isn't a real hook to bring me back for more, but even with this drawback I can't deny the fun value here.

Lost Child Original Sound Track from S.S.H Side-A - Dead Alas has typically awesome S.S.H guitar which is backed up by an engaging and driving melody from start to finish. Then again I, too, am sshbiased.

I can't help but compare Real Bout Garou Densetsu SPECIAL Arrange Sound Trax - Soy Sauce on Geese (Geese Howard) to "11th Street" Garou Densetstu track, one of my earliest and favourite SotW discoveries. This is a mild disappointment in that regard, and sounds more generic than creative. In another damning piece of bad luck, I can't help but compare this track to the S.H.H track before. Stop walking under ladders and seeing black cats everywhere, Geese Howard.

I generally like Winifred Phillips' light and whimsical orchestral style, and Spore Hero Original Videogame Score - Spore Hero Main Theme doesn't disappoint. It's soft, but it's got enough textural variety to keep me interested, and I'm a sucker for the pastoral instrumentation. Pleasant and unassuming!

Super Nova (Game Rip) - Bio is boring and static for much of its duration, but in contrast to the uplifting brass section, which sports a strong melody, it actually works. As a complete package, this track is a nice build-up-->payoff sort of listen.

Söldner-X 2 - Final Prototype (Game Rip) - Caves of Iya finds a great balance between atmosphere and melodic drive, making for quite the enjoyable 6 minute romp. My only problem is that it gets somewhat bogged down in the end, tending to sound repetitive. Still, it's a minor blemish in what is otherwise an excellent piece of music!

I can't really get behind Tokimeki Memorial 2 Vocal Tracks - Akane Ichimonji Image Song Don't worry ~Im fine by myself. It just sounds like your run-of-the-mill Japanese Tokimemo pop song. With cheesy sax of course.

Wrestle Angels SURVIVOR2 Original Soundtrack - At the Top is the only real notable track on the second Westle Angels soundtrack, sadly. But boy is it a mighty highlight. It's dazzling, triumphant and elegant in one crisp, breezy melodic package. The development is solid with a cute pizzicato interlude; and the acoustic guitar adds a nice contrast to the other more electronic sections.

4th: Fury of the Furries (PC Game Rip) - Lagoon
5th: Spore Hero Original Videogame Score - Spore Hero Main Theme

Good week. Nothing too flash, nothing too horrible. (Will be nom'ing it up later, hopefully)

Jam it back in, in the dark.
