Contrary to most, I actually prefer the sickly sweet side of Alphabet Planet to the more sophisticated fusion side. They're both good, however, and Alphabet Planet - Vivid is definitely one of the best tracks from the album. It's got some wonderfully creative melodies and developments, and the entire piece is just so much fun to listen to.

GRID (Game Rip) - Vintage Warmer is very nice. It contains enough rhythmical intrigue, so the atmospheric elements don't bore or irk in the slightest. Just a wonderful, soothing and above all captivating listen.

In the wake of Doshin, the GIANT - Yellow Giant is a...unique track. Can't say I really like any of the instruments or the way they go about delivering their melodies, but then again I wouldn't really call this track bad per se. Confusing, but not exactly frustrating.

King's Bounty: The Legend (Game Rip) - Under the Shadow of an Oak (Studio version) was pleasant without breaking into any new territory. The vocals and tranquil orchestral accompaniment create a simple, poignant melody and the progression of the piece is elegant without becoming overbearing (a fault of many emotional orchestral tracks in my eyes). Nice.

Majin Tensei II Spiral Nemesis - Evolution was annoying. Sorry nom, can't find any positive traits with this one.

I have a good success rate with Lynne's music, and Revive - Space Deliria 2000 follows this rule. Nothing outstanding, but I was relatively entertained from start to finish, which is no mean feat for a track nearing 8 minutes in duration. Some great synths and guitars, and a satisfying sense of maturation as the track progresses. 5:30 or thereabouts is the best part IMO~

Huge <3 for ZIZZ. Tre donne crudeli NITROPLUS MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK - Bounty Hunting is a simple, well-done Spaghetti Western VGM track. It has the characteristic charm of some of Naruke's better pieces, and the whistling melody is spot on. The mid section adds a nice sense of depth and gives a great contrast with the whistling bookends or the track. Overall, this is just a track which I thoroughly enjoy without it being a masterpiece or musical marvel.

Huh, it's Mulk. Z-REPLICA Vol.1 DADDY MULK THE NINJA WARRIORS - DADDY MULK honestly doesn't do anything for me. It sounds too much like it's trying to impress me---none of the singular elements in this intrigue me and they all just coalesce into one big jumbled oddball of a track.

what an oddball of a POINT----*whistles*

2 points: Tre donne crudeli NITROPLUS MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK - Bounty Hunting
2 points: Alphabet Planet - Vivid
2 points: GRID (Game Rip) - Vintage Warmer
4th: King's Bounty: The Legend (Game Rip) - Under the Shadow of an Oak (Studio version)
5th: Revive - Space Deliria 2000
6th: In the wake of Doshin, the GIANT - Yellow Giant
7th: Z-REPLICA Vol.1 DADDY MULK THE NINJA WARRIORS - DADDY MULK
8th: Majin Tensei II Spiral Nemesis - Evolution

Decent week.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Aw man "Vivid" lucked out by one point. X__x Still, the Lynee tune's pretty good so I have no real qualms. ( @ Mulk, though)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
