Nomination #10
Composer: Doors Music Entertainment Album Title: Aekanaru Sekai no Owari ni Original Soundtrack "Routine" Track Title: afternoon theme Track Number: 12 Year: 2005 Catalog Number: HBMC-022 Additional Information: I had such a hard time choosing which Aekanaru... track to nominate, because you know, Doors is completely awesome. Needless to say, I chose the catchiest one. <3 uploaded to the ftp in the afternoon haha! Most amazing jew boots |
American McGee's Alice Original Music Score - Wonderland Woods is a very decent track from a very solid soundtrack. I really appreciate the moody atmosphere and the various instrumental elements (music box, chorals, violin). I don't really like the overall development, but other than that this is a nice piece of quasi-ambience.
Whoa Epic Pinball The Complete Collection (Game Rip) - Excalibur is pretty epic for a pinball track. Unfortunately, it did absolutely nothing for me. I can't even really comment on anything, since the whole 5 minutes flew by rather uneventfully. (I shouldn't have looked at the tag before I listened to this one; every time I see the name Hitoshi Sakimoto my appreciation for the song considerably drops >_>) Master of Monsters - Golden Warrior was seriously lame, but then things started swingin' a bit and grabbed my attention. Then things sort of didn't change or do anything exciting. Overall response: meh. (without Sakimoto it would have been a "ooh, this is decent") So, Metal Gear 20th Anniversary ~ Metal Gear Music Collection - Zanzibar Breeze, where's ur melody at??!1/ Seriously, I couldn't get engaged with this track due to the complete absence of a (decent) melody. The production values are pretty good, and some of the guitar work is hilariously over-the-top. But I needed a hooky melody in there somewhere. yes I'm a melody whore, what about it Sega Arcade Selection D-RAM Remix - Sonic [Sega Sonic the Hedgehog Arcade] is OK. I really like the elevator-ACTION-elevator-ACTION sound that's going on, and some of the bubbly melodies are sweet in an unsubstantial kind of way. Decent; I may give it a point. Super Stardust HD (Game Rip) - StarFighting Across The Universe sounds similar to the BSC's "StarMan's Stage". )Wonder Dog (Red Book Audio) - Dogsville is so damn fun. ^___^ It's jazzy, slick and contains heaps of cool melodies. It also helps that the Genesis sound quality is infectiously nostalgic. And oh my, 1:27 is so very nice. Also, 2:02. This song sounds like such an accurate depiction of a dogsville, too. [bumbling, dirty, etc]XIISTAG & Trizeal Perfect Soundtrack - CLOUDY TODAY, AGAIN! TAKE02 didn't do anything for me. Not going to comment on this one, similar to teh epic pinballZ. heyy that's a pretty nice POINT!!! oh, it's hitoshi sakimoto's. well, i hate it 3 points: Wonder Dog (Red Book Audio) - Dogsville 1 point: American McGee's Alice Original Music Score - Wonderland Woods 1 point: Super Stardust HD (Game Rip) - StarFighting Across The Universe 1 point: Sega Arcade Selection D-RAM Remix - Sonic [Sega Sonic the Hedgehog Arcade] 5th: Master of Monsters - Golden Warrior 6th: Metal Gear 20th Anniversary ~ Metal Gear Music Collection - Zanzibar Breeze 7th: Epic Pinball The Complete Collection (Game Rip) - Excalibur 8th: XIISTAG & Trizeal Perfect Soundtrack - CLOUDY TODAY, AGAIN! TAKE02 Pretty poor week, IMO. Don't think I'll be keeping any of them (apart from my nom). =N There's nowhere I can't reach.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
How does 4 weeks from appearances sound? So, a person could be able to nominate 3 weeks after a Huelsbeck track appears. Or maybe not even a strict week number; perhaps if we just make people aware of the issue, they'll space their Huelsbeck noms out accordingly.
Also, nice result. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
