I've never seen any hitch-hikers and (if I were driving, i.e. when I'm older), I don't think I would pick them up. I definitely wouldn't pick any males up, it's just too risky. No teenagers, either. As for the elderly, I would as long as they weren't too...shifty looking, to put it nicely. And (lost) children? Now that's an exception.
So in most cases, no, I would not pick a hitch-hiker up. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
