I have a Razr, and well, I'm not that satisfied with it. I got the phone, and the yearly plan for free, so, I shouldn't be complaining, but still. The signal is poor, the battery life is terrible, it can break at any time, I mean, technology is only good to a certain extent.

Who's your provider Neogin and where in the US do you live? I've had my Razr for almost a year and never have the problems you're talking about. My signal is almost always good (3~5 bars), the phone battery lasts about 3 days for me, and I've dropped it numerous times - the last time being on a brick walk way a week ago.
