So, my father's car broke.

It should only take him 2 hours to get there. He probably felt like walking or else he would have gotten a taxi.

And if he didn't want to spring the money for a taxi, doesn't that mean he wanted to walk instead of spending money? Or did he really think that walking 9 miles was faster than a taxi?

Oh and more on topic I once caught a falling knife. At the time I really didn't want to damage the floor. Turns out this was probably a really dumb plan.
