Man , just a random advice to anyone who has problem with running away from stuff.
you don't have to wait untill they stop attacking , just wait untill the light orb on the bottom turns off. quicly press the D-pad or whatever your'e using to switch into costume. i learnt that taking a quick corner and switching into costume saves all the time of running into a high roof and destroy all the helicpoters.
