Anybody playing the game on a modded PAL PS2? I heard there are problems (freezing and such) with this particular game which would be too bad, I really want to import this one.

Any idea what to do with status boosting items? I don´t want to waste them on Characters that will leave the party for good (already checked that out) or Characters I`ll most probably not use towards the end of the game. Alicia and Rufus may be a good choice, but I think it´s not necessary to spoil them too much, so I saved most of the status boosters until now (Chapter 5). Any recommendations which einherjar I should definitely keep for the rest of the game?

Hmm, I´m the first time in Asgard right now (approx 50hrs of playtime, Level 33 average) and the way up to Yggdrasil is a real pain. It´s not that I´m seriously underleveled, fighting is not a problem most of the time, but now it happened to me twice, that my party was slain instantly. The first time one of the ghost-like enemies erased my entire troup with transfer ailment at once (which means game over), the second time one of the Giants (they usually aren´t that strong) dealt way too much damage thanks to a critical hit, and my party was gone. Unfortunately, this always happened after one hour of treasure-hunting and leveling. So I´m in for a third run tomorrow, this time I´ll leave earlier for the savepoint, that´s for sure.

Ha, just beat Odin, and found out he´s a real push-over. I expected a scripted battle with a severe beating, but I nearly killed him the first time before Lezard joined in. Now I´ll have to find that damn ring an snatch one or two chests I missed the way up.
