I wasn't impressed by the score of the first film...maybe that's just me. Yeah, the first movie wasn't a grand piece of cinematic achievement, but GIANT TRANSFORMING ROBOTS. I can put my pretentious feelings about film aside for that, because that's just fucking cool.
I'm really excited for this, it's a shame I wont be stateside for its release night since the theaters there are infinitely better and louder but I think I'll be seeing this opening night. It's just one of those movies. When people are occasionally cheering and making loud noises, it simply helps mask the horrible writing and any scene that isn't bitching robots killing each other!  Jam it back in, in the dark. |
