At least in the Dungeon of Doom, the party couldn't run away to the nearest town anytime things started to get interesting.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I specifically picked that name because of the rest of the group, but now the only ones who were really calling the group the G-unit are in low earth orbit.

Regardless, excited to get this show on the road. Probably more excited than i should be. Good thing playing role-playing games is SERIOUS BUSINESS and therefore warrants such excitement.

Neat, magic weapons. These should be fun.

I need to figure out exactly what Glenn's backstory is; i've got a decent idea but i need to hammer out the details.

EDIT: Oh yeah, i may or may not have a lot of internet access this coming week on account of i'm going on tour with my choir, but i'll be on at least a couple of times, hopefully. If i'm not responding to something right away, that may be the reason.

Please tell me the door Cal is feebly attempting to be sneaky at is free swinging and that he falls through it. Not only would it be hilarious, it would.... no, scratch that. it would just be hilarious.

Glenn's backstory is approaching 3000 words, and so much more has yet to happen. I think Pang may have inspired some sort of creative spark in me. It feels weird.

On another note, i'm back. Glenn should now at least be able to keep up with the rest of the G-unit.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Just as a one-time courtesy I'll point out that Puyet has a power that lets his allies shift half their speed when he rolls initiative. I'd hate to see Glenn melted to sludge before his first combat turn.

DON'T ACTUALLY USE THAT POWER OR ANYTHING THOUGH, HAWK DEFINITELY DOESN'T WON'T NEED THAT SKIN LATER
Unfortunately, i'm not even close to being within range. Whatever, I brought this on myself. If i die without getting one turn, depressing though it might be, that's the way things work when you open suspicious-looking boxes to get the game moving somewhere more exciting.

Considering that Glenn and Cal would be he only two able to do anything, i doubt the game would go very far. Since we're not allowed to go anywhere, Cal wouldn't be able to get the party into trouble, and would probably spend his time trying to chisel any remaining prospective loot from the chimney, or he'd just start picking at the walls looking for treasure. He could talk to someone i guess but i don't think the local denizens are going to give us much more information than they already have.

Glenn would be perfectly content to sit in a corner for the entire duration of the time when no one else was making something happen because he doesn't talk to people much. I don't think he's said a single word since joining the group.

I'll take Snap Shot. Attacking for a minor action is never a bad thing.

We already increased monster damage once, didn't we? Something about less health and bigger dice? Will both changes take effect, or just one?

I hope he retrains something so that he can use that armor properly, if possible *hint*. Glenn can't be elbowing Garrmondo in the ribs all the time - it's not easy to get him to feel anything through that stuff.

Glenn would really like to check out the Drow city, but that's a bad plan since they would probably just want to kill him on sight. Past that, wherever the rest of the group heads is fine.

Zerg, we haven't even looked at the staff to see if that method is possible, but i doubt it. If the two arrows you shot at it didn't make it budge, i doubt you tugging on a long rope will. Wait to actually check the staff before finalizing your decision to do anything.

I apologize in advance if i suddenly stop posting, my internet has been really spotty of late.

Pang, i'm trying to visualize how the wheels are set. can Glenn see the entire face of the wheels or are they half buried in the platform?

I want to back up the sequence and join or retrieve Garr and our new friend, but i'm not sure how attached Cal and Puyet are to exploring their surroundings. I suppose we could also split up the party and have Glenn and Gheth investigate the third world, presuming there is one, and see if we all meet up at the end somewhere or just wander the maze for eternity. y'know, either way.

Those were good times.

Mostly we just need a coherent leader to give the party some direction. Glenn's not really the leading type, but if the only other option is Cal...

I figured Gheth, at least character-wise, to be the most coherent, but he's almost as quiet as Glenn.

Almost wishing Glenn's character didn't require him to be a wait quietly in the corner and stab things that get too close to your friends type so i could take charge without all of a sudden having Glenn's personality swing a 180.

Oh also, I won't have internet this weekend (Sat-Mon), so if anything exciting happens (which i highly doubt), someone else can point Glenn in the direction of targets for stabbtiy death.

I'm back!

Zeph, Glenn's sneak attack is 2d8, not 2d6. Other than that, i wouldn't have used the gloves, but i guess it's a little late now.

Also, i didn't catch it before, but you could have moved that far without using an action point, Garr. you can turn standard actions into move actions.

I'd be all for a little diplomacy, but i don't think they'll be listening to Glenn. Gheth has the best diplomacy score (still only 8, ouch), so i guess it's up to Skexis. Talking can happen any time, correct?

Zerg, if you're going to contest Pang's rulings, at least do it in here so as to not clutter up the main thread so much. Reading that thread is already getting really confusing what with the time shifts, we don't need arguments over rules making it worse.
