I don't think one song should loop about 6 or 7 times. After a while it just gets to be annoying.
I think the songs should just go for 3 full times and then stop. If it goes for longer I usually get bored with the song.
I mostly have this problem with the songs that are recorded for over 5 minutes.

If that's the case, then cut the song yourself. I understand the hassle though -- often I'm too lazy to do any editing myself.
