I've only read the first five English volumes. Good stuff here. I'll just stick with the American release schedule instead of downloading the scanlations. An Anime and Movie? I had no idea. Sounds good to me.

I've only read the first six volumes of the manga so far(volume seven is in the mail). Wonder if they will change anything to make the story more consise to fit into its episode count?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I've only read up to the seventh volume from the American release, but will watch Death Note to conclusion. Similar to what I'm doing for Monster except with that I've only read the first four English volumes.

So far, the anime has exceeded my expectations - the animation is top notch and the music is creepy as hell. The killing spree conducted from Raito's desk, matched with chorus music and crazy camera motions worked really, really well... And a nice touch was the use of red for Raito's eyes. They looked really evil O_O

I'm definitely watching out for this one. Any sub-groups picked this up or has announced their intension to?

I've had to suffer through my U's firewall for two years. So, in my third year I have opted to pay $5 a month for an anime direct download service. National Anime has every anime out there and update daily, so I'm covered.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
